We used to go to Eberle and when he retired in2018, JCAH was recommended to us.I am glad I listened to that because I never looked back!I had to put my friend of 8 years down last year and trust me when I say I lost it!!! I still cry every other day… Dr Whitney was SO compassionate and went above and beyond to help me every way he could. I will never forget that…Dr Moore was the one to diagnose my baby and wrote a very sweet message in a card signed by other members of the hospital staff. She referred to him by name and talked about how sweet he was!Let me also say how knowledgeable she is and how she never misses on a medication for my cats - everything she prescribes works!!My cat had a dental cleaning once and did not need the IV fluid which was included in the estimate. I would never know that since he had his leg shaved… Dr Whitney was super honest and told me about it and how I didn’t need to pay another $200 ish (maybe less, I can’t remember the exact number) for that.I have 3 other cats and we continue to go to JCAH. I was reading reviews on how people got upset with someone at the front desk, etc and I don’t think it’s fair to give this place 1 star because of something like that.I am sure 99% of those people are amazing and truly care. I have had one bad experience with front desk many years ago and that never changed my love for this place! They always call to check on my cats and help me A LOT with my ginger “pest” who needs to be sedated when he comes in… I never think twice when someone asks for a vet recommendation. I deeply appreciate Dr Whitney and wish a lot of success to this place. May they have more and more clients and hope they stay in business forever!!!Love you all so much.

The care and service JCAH provides is bar none. How I and George Burns my cat, ever got along without Dr Whitney is in question. Thank you for the care you provide!

Dr. Enders is truly exceptional! Tofu underwent neutering and microchipping procedures, and although there were some common post-procedure complications, Dr. Enders kept me well-informed and ensured Tofu received top-notch care. Thanks to her expertise, Tofu is now back to his amazing self. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

The vet recommended I go to Blue Pearl which was pretty weird in the first place. She was talking loudly in their back hallway about my concern over the cost of everything she was suggesting. She only seemed to want to help if you have a couple grand to run wild tests- that she couldn’t even, or wouldn’t even, explain the need for. I don’t feel like she would have cared if my dog had died on her table right there. I was just trying to get a straight answer on course of action and cost and she couldn’t provide it.

We’ve been very pleased with their service and ability to adjust times etc. they’ve shown good care for our pet and seem to have a deepUnderstanding of potential issues for different breeds. We’ll likely continue using them for all our vet needs.

*I am editing my original review, shared below, following an outreach call I received this morning from the owner of Jordan Creek Animal Hospital. Dr. Whitney is clearly a rarity in the business world—concerned with people (and their pets) first and foremost, even if it means compromising a day’s schedule to fit in a last-minute emergency visit. He was very kind in his conversation with me and explained that their values as a practice were not exemplified in the behavior of the receptionist (not office manager) I dealt with. I am confident that this incident will be addressed within their team, and as I stated below, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their clinical care to anyone (at least care delivered by Dr. Kueter). A bit of compassion and heartfelt communication go a long way.ORIGINAL REVIEW: My 5-year-old cat Eloise became very ill and I scheduled an exam with our regular veterinarian, but it became clear she couldn’t wait two days to be seen. I didn’t want to risk one of the walk-in clinics in the area—less than favorable reviews and I don’t know anyone who’s used their services so couldn’t get a personal take on their quality of care. I called seven regular clinics before connecting with Jordan Creek Animal Hospital. They immediately scheduled Eloise for a next day appointment, even though they knew we didn’t plan to establish permanent care with them, and even allowed extra time to make sure we covered everything we needed to. Our experience with their vet, Dr. Kueter, was incredibly positive: she is kind, attentive, thorough, highly knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about her work. The tech was also delightful and took excellent care of my cat. After Eloise’s lab and scan results came back, Dr. Kueter spent 20 mins on the phone with me going over her assessment and recommended care plan. At no point did she make me feel like I was a burden or a nuisance because I wasn’t going to be a repeat customer. However, her front desk manager, Lisa, is an entirely different story. When I went to pick up my cat, I let Lisa know that I didn’t plan to purchase the lactated ringers kit after all since Eloise would receive fluids at her regular vet’s office. Without saying a word, but with pursed lips and a truly rude attitude, Lisa removed the items from my bag and gave direction to the other person at the desk to modify my total amount owed. Then she turned to me and said, ““Will you be returning?” I said no, that this was more of an emergency visit. Lisa then said, in a surly tone, “You know, there are walk-in clinics available. We’re not a walk-in clinic, just so you know for future reference.” I told her yes, I know that, that when I called to schedule this visit and explained the emergent situation and why I didn’t feel comfortable using a walk-in clinic, the person who scheduled us didn’t seem to have a problem with us coming in. Lisa repeated herself, like I hadn’t heard her the first time, then she left the room in a huff and didn’t return while the other front desk employee finished my transaction. I dropped a total of $648.25 on this appointment, which was money well spent given the quality of clinical care received, but the administrative care was terribly unprofessional. It’s a shame that a person like that is the face of their practice. I recommend that the practice owners spend some of the money I handed over today, that I guess I should have given to a walk-in clinic, on customer service training for this particular staff person. Zero stars for Lisa the office manager, five stars for everyone else I worked with during this incredibly stressful situation.

I would like to thank Dr Rachel Varley and all the staff at Jordan Creek Animal Hospital. Our cat became very sick very quickly, and unfortunately we had to make the tough decision to have her put down. Dr Varley was incredibly empathetic, knowledgeable and helpful during initial assessment as well as the euthanization process. We received our cats remains in a beautiful wooden box with a paw print and a signed card from the staff. I'm so glad we found such a caring clinic to help us through this difficult time. I would definitely recommend this place!

0 stars. Don’t go here. The vet who worked with me, Dr. Moore, was great and kind. The girls who work the front desk, however, are the worst. At least two of them that I encountered.I had to put my best friend down Saturday. The day before, I called to get info and speak to Dr.Moore and the first girl I talked to, Hailey, talked over me and was unprofessional. The afternoon came and I called again to let them know I was coming the next day to put my dog down and the girl I spoke with was very business and nonchalant and addressing the call as an ordinary appointment. I understand it’s not THEIR dog, but show some compassion or get OUT of that type of work. Needless to say I went to Iowa Vet Specialty for my best friend to cross the rainbow bridge and THEY were wonderful. Don’t go here.

Wonderful vet, nice staff. You can tell they truly care about animals. They do tend to get busy, because they are so good imo, so you may have trouble getting an appointment. They've worked with me through my cats thyroid issues and been there every step of the way
