Des Moines isn't a hotbed of liquor stores, mainly because you can get anything mainstream at the grocery store or a convenience store. So if you're looking for something different (maybe not super different) this is a solid option. Prices are good. Lot of hard liquors. Bottles of Dom. Decent selection of import beers. Parking is tight and can be dicey, tho at least they have reserved spots.

Not a good whiskey selection. The person sitting on the chair, witch I assume was the employee was super uninterested in helping customers, was just sitting and looking at this computer and was super super unfriendly. I'll take my business elsewhere

I've ordered from here online and had it shipped to California. Working with Ben, he is incredibly knowledgeable about comparable selections. They also ship very fast, and I was able to get what I needed. With a wide variety here, I would order from them again.

We always head here for our wine and spirits, as they stock interesting and unusual items and brands that cannot be found at a local grocer. Additionally, as others have mentioned, the staff is very knowledgeable, willing to help and provide great suggestions and alternatives. They are always aware of when a new shipment should be expected for some of our favorites! Their prices also beat others in town!

I came here after a long day of work to get some type of liquor. Wasn't sure what. I get here and it's closed. I'm confused because the hours are until 9, and it's about 8:50. Then I realized they closed at 6 today for the caucuses. That is a good business, more should follow their lead.
