The pharmacy at this location is frustrating to say the least. I have had to do more work myself to get my meds filled with this pharmacy than any other pharmacy I've used. I've been waiting on meds for several days and am now out of them because their staff can't communicate with each other or their patients. I am switching to a new pharmacy.

Ended up trying the breakfast one morning on an impulse. It was excellent. Huge portions and lots of flavors. The wife and I both ended up taking half of our meals home.

I did experience a snafu with ordering when I ordered a cake for pick up. The cake was not ready to be picked up at the time we’d agreed on. However, not only did they make things right, the manager personally called me and hand delivered the cake to the party location which happened to be across town. You just don’t see customer service like this anymore. Outstanding! This guy really sets the bar for how customer service should be. Shout out to the whole department for making things right.

?The woman in the bakery was kind & efficient. I have had a problem with Dairy. I wanted a particular yogurt not on the shelf. An employee was stocking Dairy & I asked her if she had them in the back. She said yes but, refused to go back & get them. She said they were "buried" back there & she didn't want to go & get them. So I got Jack with a side of Squat! I was shocked. Customer Service was my livelihood for years. I would Never had done that. I will continue shopping here, because there are some very kind & knowledgeable people. It would be smart to have extra service training. Hopfully it will change. This location has hired security and after trying to enter the store with the security guard stopping people twice in front of the doors and after being told there was a mistake both times with the registers (Maybe fix the registers) I have to think this policy is on the same level as Hyvee market grills. I am all for stopping crime but as rarely as I go to this old store I find it a bit concerning that store security was confronting people both times and both times were the result of a malfunction with registers. Hyvee should be charged with a crime for the prices they charge for their terrible baked goods and their cookies are hard enough for criminals to use to tunnel out of prison (Do not send Hyvee baked goods to prisons people will escape with them)! I hope we get a Kroger or Publix to compete with these guys. Maybe you missed the market grills that are all now Whalburgers because Hyvee cant cook food worth a flip but this was a huge loss and being as the Whalburgers in other states are much better than Hyvee run ones I would say they need a CEO from another grocery store chain.

HyVee has great donuts! My mom enjoys the Raspberry filled donuts with chocolate frosting! My husband enjoys the Apple Fritters and I love the Honeymooners! I must put in a good word for Roberta! She's always super friendly with a great smile when she sees me come in! ☺
