Had a really excellent experience at the store with an associate named Jordan. I wish I would’ve asked him his last name. He did an excellent job helping me find the right baseball equipment for my son. Took the time to unlock the batting cage so he could try out the bat before we bought it and spent time to steam and form my son’s new glove even talked some NFL with us. Like I said, I didn’t catch his last name, but I did see on his name tag that he was passionate about Youth Sports. Was the highlight of my week thanks for being passionate about your job kind and helpful. God bless you

I ordered Men’s Adidas white ultra boost for my boyfriend for Christmas. The confirmation order was correct and when it was deleivered, the email was correct. Come to open the package and we received Womens Nike pink and purple basketball shoes. Went to the store to return them and the gentleman never apologized for the mistakes the company made. Our only option was for a return and rebuy. We had to re-order the shoe again and he said there is no guarantee that this won’t happen again. We also had to pay full price when rebuying the shoe. Now it’s not here for Christmas and the mistake wasn’t our fault. I understand it wasn’t the stores fault but the staff showed no compassion or remorse or tried to make it right in any way.

It's funny how you can forget to review the places you frequently visit. Dick's is our go to for my son and I when it comes to his gear for Valley sports. They have a great selection of gear across the board and offer a veterans discount. The one negative. Like any of the larger sporting goods stores... It's sometimes tough to get assistance on the floor when you need it.

It was our first time in the location and we were looking for a section. We asked three employees and they all pointed us to opposite directions. So it was fun walking around in circles Until we found what we were looking for on our own. When you ask somebody a question, they just ask somebody on the walkie that they wear the question, And whoever is on the other line or answers it .... But whoever that person was that they had no idea what they weren't talking about.Once we finally found the section we were trying on some head gear to get the right size & A lot of employees started walking around us, and it kind of made us feel like they thought we were trying to steal something.Very awkward experience but the store itself had a lot of options and was nice.

I purchased a Nordic Track Treadmill on Oct 16th with estimated delivery Oct 30th. Delivery cost was 200, and on Oct 31st I contacted customer service, they had no scheduled delivery and they’d get back to me. After contacting customer service yet AGAIN and escalating to speaking with a manager did I find out there was no driver to deliver to my address and they were hoping and dreaming for a driver or that I would just cancel all together. Problem has not been solved and I have not received product that I paid for. Why allow me to purchase shipping for my address if you are unable to execute. At least give me a call and let me know instead of playing the run around and allowing me to call multiple times. You would expect better customer service when spending $1500.I wouldn’t recommend ordering anything that has to do with shipping.

Frustrating. I was told they were going to setup a demo elliptical. Went back and told no, we aren't going to set up a demo. Wasting my time.

Customer service is sub-par. We ordered a $450 blue yeti cooler online and traveled 45minutes to pick it up. It was completely scratched up and no other blue one in stock. They had our email and phone number. Someone should have reached out and told us the product was damaged and asked if another color was sufficient. It's not. My husband wants blue and other stores have blue. The manager had the audacity to say "it's only scratched..." ? After I raised hell, he then offered 15% off. I'm not buying a $375 cooler either that's damaged! No thanks.

It's probably only the 3rd time I've been there but I like the store it has probably everything you want. The only problem is it's clear across town so unless they have something i want or more to choose from, color, size, or a lot cheaper for I'll shop a lot closer. 5-10 dollars isn't worth the drive. I just wished they had one one on the east or north side of Des Moines

The shoe deparment is a joke, and Jack treated me as if my concern did not matter until I asked for a manager. I initially waited 30 minutes and they forgot about my shoes so they had to rescan me into the queue to re-wait again.When I first asked for shoes I brought up a few options to see what I could even get in my size and Jack asked me if I only wanted them to scan a few since there was a long line. I just said I need to know which ones I can even choose from first in case you dont have my size. Asking questions like that makes me feel like you dont want my business in the first place. Finally he scanned them, (which took about 30 seconds) and then put me into the queue where I was forgotten about. I have no problem waiting but I do have a problem when other people are helped immeditately while I had been waiting longer. I also have a huge problem with being forgotten about while other customers who waited a few minutes were helped before me.Luckily after an hour, I asked for the manager and he finally came out with my shoes and offered 25% off. Changing from one star to two, thank you Ryan for listening to my cocerns and making things right.Drew also helped me very nicely at the register and gave me an even further discount for having to wait that long (with manager approval). Thank you for all your help, changing from two stars to three.I had no idea my concerns would actually be listened to!

Came in for a golf fitting and the guy, took the clubs away from us and we were asked to leave, because we "didn't have permission to hit"

Gail was great to work with. He was on top of customer service and helpful with trying to get us a bike. He even remembered my name when I came in a few days later. Although we did not end up purchasing a bike from there I was still very impressed with the way Gail helped us out.
