I thought I was renting the "Popcorn Popper with Cart" but it ended up being a smaller, tabletop popcorn machine. Not a huge deal, but I wish they would have communicated and made it more clear which machine I was renting. The quote did not state whether it was standing or a tabletop, and I didn't know to inquire as I wasn't aware they had multiple types.

When we first rented from this company 6 years go, it would have been a 5 star review. We have used this company for two grad parties and had completely different experiences. My first was excellent. The second, not even close. 6 years ago crisp clean tent with sides, tables & chairs were delivered. This year a dingy, patched tent in multiple places, sides that had broken & missing connectors, one side had been cleaned but had mold stains. The tables & chairs dirty beyond cleaning, the tables also had old duct tape stuck to them & the chairs rust spots. The smaller tent stakes broken so they did not hold the ropes. Traci was the only good thing of our experience & responded swiftly & apologetically upon our complaint, but that was the extent of it.

Traci was always super friendly and helpful. But when our event came, she was out sick so I dealt with Steve, who was very rude. I called because I ordered white plastic tables for my daughter ‘s wedding and they brought old dilapidated wood top tables that were in terrible shape. He was unwilling to make it right in any way. For this reason I would not recommend. The only reason I gave it even a 3 was because of Traci.

Every time I talk to a customer service representative here they all have a problem. I don’t understand why you wouldn’t treat the people giving you business with respect. On phone, extremely rude. In person it’s even worst. I honestly would not recommend their service. Even returning the equipment which was rented the receptionist just wanted argue because they made the mistake of not opening my contract. Take ownership of your problems. I would say the general laborers have better customer service skills than the front desk.

Highly recommend - I worked with Traci to determine what I needed. She was patient and professional, even when I continued to add or modify items when the RSVP list increased and the weather changed 40 degrees. Our backyard wedding reception was beautiful and our guests enjoyed the entire day. Thank you

Classic Events and Parties verbally confirmed on the phone that they would be at our property to set up a tent and tables for a party 2 weeks ago. Everything was written down including prices and delivery time. When asked about billing they reported we would be billed after the event. When I called today to confirm they told me they only had a quote and called my wife and I liars about everything we had written down.They adamantly and said that would confirm an appointment like that on the phone and it was too late to send location services out to do a tent for our party. Their mistake is honestly not the reason for this review, the extremely disrespectful customer service was. Steve the general manager was combative and difficult as soon as he got on the phone and the receptionist also was very argumentative and couldn't accept they made a mistake. When I asked for them to look up who my wife spoke to on the phone to straighten it out, they couldn't figure it out and that's when Steve got on the line to "lay down the law". Customer service at it's finest.

I reached out to this company for my wedding reception in Des Moines. They told me they could deliver on friday and pick up on monday for a $90 fee. The issue is, and I told them about this, I live in Cedar Falls and can't do any set up until Saturday and have to be OUT on sunday morning leaving me with holding onto tables somehow until Monday (the day we're on a plane to our honeymoon). So they came back with an astronomical $720 fee added onto the $90 fee just to pick up the table on Sunday morning (keep in mind my entire order was only like $450 of ONLY TABLES). Long story short, don't waste your time! I found a different table rental place that was willing to drop off Saturday morning and pick up Sunday morning all for $60. So you decide $810 or $60?

We rented a tent this past weekend and it needed to be up by noon. Upon delivery, it was windy but the workers bragged about putting tents up in worse weather. It was supposed to be up by noon. The 3 workers spent half that time on their phones and then at 1pm took a lunch break until 2:30. When I called to tell them they needed to come back and have the tent up by 5:30; they were back after 3pm. Attempted one more time and began to pack up and said it couldn’t be done. I called their boss, who treated me poorly and proceeded to laugh at me and said they would charge us more to come back on Saturday. I said it needed to be done tonight and he was absolutely rude along with the 3 workers. Finally they actually attempted to put it up again at 6pm, the tent was up. But it was filled with holes all over it. They never showed up to pick it up on the requested day. Terrible experience and I do not recommend.

Drivers blocked entire drop off drive so I had to back up in a very unsafe way through a parking lot. Had the driver waited 2 seconds and been more patient the issue wouldn’t have happened. I for one will one never use their service.
