Absolutely amazing work they are doing. My 1 year old adjusted very well with them and has been having fun and has been doing great learning to play with other kids. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a wonderful place to send your kids. They are definitely worth it.

We sent our kids here for the last 3.5 years. The senior teachers that you find here was amazing! However sadly teachers make up such a small part of the school. It's management that makes or breaks a place. And sadly the current management is running the school into the ground due to a lack of cleanliness, absolutely no communication, unfriendly and disengaged behavior with the parents. We have been forced to do classroom closures due to the lack of staff retention. For our family that it not something were able to do for more then a week or two. If the center was probably management by someone who was able to properly lead like previous managers (Natalie and Danielle) then I truly believe the center would not be looking at mandatory classroom closures with no resolution eta. The current management is counting on current parents to leave in order to help with classroom counts, versus looking internally at the larger picture as to why they aren't able to retain the staff they have.I'm sad to say my strong recommendation for this center no longer stands. I have withdrawal my kids from this school. I fear that with the was the school is going it will continue to see the quality teachers leaving for better centers and higher paying roles and a lack of new hires in order to help fill the gaps. Until they get someone in that can lead I'd advise you look elsewhere for quality long lasting childcare

overall excellent experiences at Cadence. We've had two children attend and we've had no problems. very friendly and responsible staff. they are thorough and transparent, which is comforting. leadership/management is also top notch. seems a bit more pricy than most other places but its certainly high quality care.

My daughter loves being there. All the teachers are phenomenal and patient. They deal with day to day issues promptly and communicate with anything that happens real time via an app so I know how her day is going.They have helped with her picky eating and explore different foods. I highly recommend Cadence for your child. My son also went the Cadence however at the Grand Ave. Location and he also loved it.

My niece attends this academy, and if I could give more than 5 stars I would! I have been so impressed with the care and education they give her at this school. Her mom always sends pictures of her playing with her friends and her teachers. She’s not just another number, but is well looked after and loved while away from her family. It’s been a great opportunity for her to socialize and learn, and it’s been fun for me to see the growth in her!

Cadence is a fantastic place! My niece goes here and absolutely loves it. The teachers are well-qualified, and the directors are exceptional. They have excellent communication with parents, and they truly care about the kids and families they work with. Would absolutely recommend.

What our family found most appealing at first about Cadence was they offered a part time program for our daughter at a part time rate. We had no idea how hard it would be to find a program that didn't charge full time fees for a part time schedule. Cadence was the only location that seemed to truly understand the need for this type of programming for families. In addition to a program that fit our family schedule we were impressed with the dedication and commitment of the director, Ms. Theresa. She is one of the hardest working and most pleasant people we have come across since moving to Des Moines. Our daughters primary teacher is Ms. Nina who has loyally and cheerfully served Cadence for 11 years. 11! She handles our daughter so well- is patient, caring and takes time to talk to us about her classroom development nearly everyday. Ms. Megan's classroom occassionally teams up with Ms.Nina's and her Efforts with her classroom are noticible. She is creative, playful and intentional- both women are. I Admire their profession so much and my family is deeply grateful for the role they are playing in shaping our three year old Girl. She's blossoming in ways we have long hoped for and it's in large part due to the Cadence community. Thank you!

After 7 years at Cadence, our last child moved on to Kindergarten. We had a wonderful experience during our time with Cadence for both of our kids. The teachers/staff are wonderful and genuinely care about the children.Plus, they learned so much by attending Cadence on Ashworth as all age levels have learning plans and social activities.We had nothing but a positive experience and will miss the teachers and staff as they were such a big part of our lives for the first five years!

Our two daughters attend Cadence Academy and my husband and I are so thankful we found this wonderful place. Our girls love it there (literally my 1 year old kicks her feet in excitement and squeals the minute we get through the door!)- I see them learning all the educational and motor skills they should be. More importantly to me, is the emotional understanding and thought processing I see them gaining. I feel this comes from the cadence caregivers-who are educated and compassionate-and give them them a positive environment with love, safety, and understanding as they learn and grow.As parents, its never easy to have your kids spend so many hours in someone else's care. But my husband and I both agree its a blessing to be able to drop our girls off at Cadence. And even though we joke about what we used to do with extra money before paying day care (?!), we both agree Cadence is worth every penny. Our family works best with two working parents, and our trust in Cadence is a large part of that.

My son started at cadence academy in 2016 when he was just 8 weeks old. This year he is five, and is approaching his last few months spending 8-9 hours a day there. From day one, I felt confident and secure, leaving my tiny infant in the hands of the staff there. I could check in online and visit whenever I needed to. He took his first steps there. Started potty training there. And ultimately met his best friends and learned more than I ever imagined he would, before starting kindergarten! Cadence Academy has been my saving grace, the last five years and I’m so thankful for them and taking such amazing care of my son for the past five years! We are going to be so sad to leave when he starts kindergarten this fall. They use an app online to post daily attendance times, post pictures of the kids playing and eating, daily meals and how much or how little the child eats. And pre Covid days, you had to have a special code to enter the building. So you can rest assured, your child is going to be safe inside the building until you pick them up. They have conferences with each parent twice a year to update you on your child’s development and daily interactions. They are the best of the best teachers, and are always ready to great the kids with positive energy and happy smiles, every single day. 10/10 highly recommend!!

Cadence Academy has been awesome! Our kids are almost 2 and 4 and have been going to Cadence for about 18 months now. The staff all communicate well and often. They use an app that allows us to see all the activities for each of our kids throughout the day and frequently share pictures as well. Natalie (School Director) has been great as well. She has been flexible with our schedule being crazy because we are a military family, and they have cooperated very well the childcare assistance programs available to service members. Our kids both love their teachers, and really enjoy going to school here. Highly recommended!

This is hands down the best preschool anyone could ever want to send their child to! ALL of the staff members are friendly, caring, and make you feel like family. My daughter loves all of her teachers and wakes up every day excited to go. They have age appropriate activities to aid in learning but also let the kids have fun and play. The school is clean and safe and every day the children are laughing and smiling - you can tell they love being there. I literally can not say enough good things about this place.

My daughter has been attending Cadence for a year and half. Recently my daughter had to take an English test that covers speaking and reading before she can start Kindergarten since we are a bilingual household. The teacher who administered the test was very impressed and stated that my daughter tested at the highest level. She asked if we worked with my child at home and I said no. She does all her learning at Cadence. The teacher was impressed as there was another student who tested at the highest level who also attends Cadence. The teacher stated that Cadence must really focus on academics as it clearly shows. We are saddened that my daughter will be moving on from Cadence to kindergarten. The Teachers and Staff at Cadence do an excellent job in caring, nurturing and educating the children. We will miss Cadence.

Our family absolutely loves Cadence Academy on Ashworth! My son was lucky enough to attend, and he thrived so much in such a short amount of time. He progressed in potty training, eating/drinking skills, basic dexterity (crafts/art/etc.), as well as lots of social interactions. The teachers in his room were extremely attentive and caring, and the directors are amazingly wonderful! Natalie and her assistant have always been super responsive with any questions or concerns I have had, and have made the process so manageable for our busy family. We are awaiting our third and will be returning in the spring, and cannot wait!! The facility is so clean, well-maintained, and safe. I was always happy to hear about what food was provided through KidReports--which is a great platform that grants parents/caregivers access to daily activities, including length of naps, food eaten, and diaper changes/potty attempts. We highly recommend Cadence!

Our 2 year old son has attended Cadence Academy for a little over a year. I am so happy to have found a daycare where I feel he is so well cared for and loved. The teachers and staff are wonderful! They are sweet, caring, and seem to genuinely enjoy their workplace. We have been blessed with amazing teachers in the 2 year old room, who truly understand unique needs of all children. There is thought put into the weekly lesson plans to make learning exciting and engaging. Centers are continuously changed out, and always align with the themes they are learning about. Our son also enjoys the All Stars program and monthly music classes that are offered at this center. I know how happy he is by the smile on his face when we arrive to pick him up each night.We love the KidReports app which updates us on his daily activities including what he eats, length of nap, what they are learning, and stories read that day. Along with pictures of him learning, dancing, doing crafts and playing outside. These little snapshots of his day allow us to talk with him about his school day each night.I cannot speak highly enough about the director Natalie. She is extremely organized, making sure all of the details of running a daycare center are not overlooked. Her communication with parents is phenomenal! She is always present, which is important to me. Most days I see her at drop off when she greets my son with a smile and a good morning! And she is there at pick up as well. She is at the heart of creating a welcoming, safe, nurturing and positive environment, which transfers to all and makes the center feel like family.I would recommend Cadence Academy on Ashworth to any parent looking for a safe, family friendly daycare!
