Worse banking service I have ever had. Paid off a loan customer service kept telling me they had not received payment come to find out payment had been received but took 4 more days to go through account. Then called about getting title and was told it could take up to 17 days. In the meantime it is costing me money because camper is sold but have to keep insurance on it until we can put in new owners name. Did not initially finance through this company but original bank sold accounts to BMO. Reconsider using this bank not user friendly.

Mike Painovich helped me get a home. He expertly got me in on a short timeline and with 0 delays to closing. I even had a totaled car I had to replace in the middle of it all. He helped me through every step of the process. First time homebuyer and he made sure I understood every single step. He works with a great group of peers too.

My husband has been banking with them for over 7 years and has 4 or 5 accounts with them. They are a nightmare with the worse customer service. We are using a vacation day from work and we will be closing our accounts and finally getting a new bank. I would not recommend this bank to my worse enemy. Please go somewhere else unless you like your bank to say you cannot spend your money when you have well over 8,000 in your bank.

Worst bank ever! ATM does not reliably work. They stopped taking Loose coins. Huge building with only one teller doing both the drive thru and walkups. Lobby closes at unpublished hours. Teller has zero customer service skills. Seems so mis-managed. Glad to be closing my account...

The flag outside this building needs disposed of properly and they need to replace it. It's disgraceful to have a flag torn and stuck in a tree esp as a business.

Was buying our first home through fha. Worked with Mike Painovich. An absolute nightmare. Didn't even close on the home. Had to walk away. Would definitely not recommend this bank!

I wish there were a way to target Bank of the West customer service specifically, but there isn't. Long story short, I've been a loyal BOTW customer for SEVEN years. For the past 3-4 months, I have been finding weird service charges and each time i call to ask about them, I get the same response "I'm sorry for the inconvenience, unfortunately there's nothing we can do" I'm sorry, but kindly shut up. Yes, you can do something! How about NOT charging your customers for having 1 auto payment coming out of their savings acct?? Ridiculous. Needless to say, after 7 years, we are switching banks. It sucks when you have to switch all your automatic payments to a different account, but it's worth it if you aren't charged unknown fees (might I add, I specifically told the rep I was never told I would be charged for making 1 auto payment from my savings acct, and his response was they dont have time to tell us all the rules and regulations of our accounts. He was a rude little snot!) Good riddance!
