Best thing about this bank was door closing behind me. Tried open account as potential new customer. Was told had make appoint. I needed open account for direct deposit. Was told needed proof of utility bill when we do paperless. They apparently don't want new residents to bank there. Find a different bank these people will not help you.

Find a different bank. They like to charge fees unfairly. Made a deposit, the following day it shows it posted to the account and is available. Pay a bill, then all the sudden the bill comes out, overdraft fees and the deposit is pending. They switch it to pending to charge overdraft and conveniently take the overdraft before the bills. Shady bank. They steal from their customers. Seriously save yourself the headache. After 15+ years with them. Im done. Time to find a new bank!

Horrible experience in dealing with the renewal of my father’s CD while he was hospitalized and in critical condition. Individual did not understand the verbiage in his trust regarding incapacity nor did she understand the term co-trustee. She was NOT a trust officer but a branch manager (glorified teller). Spewed recommendations that were not true. Upset my 90 year old mother. We had to involve the trust department of the bank where the trust was held and she still wouldn’t back down from her incorrect conclusions. We are DONE dealing with this bank.

Rude and condescending customer service reps, unreasonable overdraft fees, zero sympathy for customers struggling during the pandemic. Done business with them for a decade, never had problems until recently. Find yourself a bank whose customers are their priority, not profit.

We have done our banking with this bank for well over 30 years, I have made a few mistakes, but the bank corrected ASAP, stop in and get to know the people you bank with, very friendly and courteous. They all go overboard in helping you any way they can, and have done so numerous times with me. Give them a chance, best people ever!!!

Bank Iowa is the worse bank I have ever used. They stole $105 in "Overdraft" fees from my accounts, even though THEY cashed my car payment and credit card payments three weeks before they were dated or due. I went on a trip out of town, and left my bills to be mailed when I was gone. I am 58 years old, and haven't EVER bounced a check in my life. I am closing my accounts ASAP and moving to another bank. Not being from Iowa, I didn't know of their theft practices. I wish someo

This bank is amazing! I love that they are a small bank so I feel like they care about the customers more. They make you feel important unlike big banks!

Met one of the most condescending, rude, and spiteful employee I've ever met before. I've never been treated so badly. Kennedy Van something was her name. I will be moving my business to a more hospitable bank. I don't know how you're still in business.
