First of all, I don’t think I’ve ever left a review before. I came in to have 2 simple pieces of glass cut. I needed 2 pieces that were 11-1/8 by 8-5/8. The kid got them cut and that night when I got home, somehow I ended up with only ONE piece that was 11-1/8 by 10-5/8 for some reason. The correct measurements were even written on the paper he wrapped them up in! So I go back the next day and tell him what happened. I reminded him I needed 2 pieces 11-1/8 by 8-5/8 and he went and cut them. I get home that night only to find the 2 pieces cut at 11-5/8 by 8-5/8. Holy crap people. So I got back year again today thinking the 3rd times the charm. Wrong. I waited about 40 minutes for him to cut 2 simple pieces of glass and then just left. You have got to be kidding me. You had to be trying to screw up that bad. Unreal. I wouldn’t bother darkening their doorway!

Great store!
I love that they are open 7 days a week--helpful with last minute projects. The staff is friendly and helpful. Ace has an extensive selection of all sorts of hardware, home, garden items. I love browsing, never know what I'll find! The website is great for ship to home or an in-store pickup.
Like the ads say, Ace is the Place!

I am a single 82 year old lady. I needed 2 things today that I had no idea about. They were 2 new keys and 2 new batteries to put in garage door opener. They were very professional and helpful and I walked out with a smile.

This is the closest hardware store to me and everytime I walk in, I’m met with a “can we help you find anything?” and they always can point me in the right direction of what I need. It’s refreshing having employees that are helpful and knowledgeable. I’m always in and out quickly and get exactly what I need. Would easily take this over a big box store!

Bought a bird feeder less than a week ago and the cable broke from the clasp. Called Cappels hardware and asked if I could bring it back and when they asked the Store Manager Andrew he said NO. I ended up calling ODonnell's Ace Hardware and explained the issue. They told me bring it in and they could exchange it with a defect. I brought it into the store and the employees were so friendly and the guy said I think I could fix it with a new clasp. He took it to the back and had it repaired in 5 min. Great Service!! I want to support small business but Cappels management makes it difficult.

Old guys here have lots of helpful knowledge. The young guys don't know what caulk is. Store is overpriced but I come here and try to find the old guys when I need some help.

We purchased a grill online. Customer service is excellent. They assembled and delivered the grill on time. If you cannot find something, this is the place to go. All the associates are knowledgeable. If they can't help you they will find someone who can.

I was determined to get STIHL brand lawn care products and found this Ace Hardware Store had everything on my list. The staff was very helpful and located everything on my list. Their ethics reminded me of a small town store when I was a kid. Spent time helping me select specific items, based upon my personal use.

I wanted to buy 10 bags of top soil which were stacked in the parking lot. I took 1 bag in to the store and asked to buy 10 bags from the stack. After completing the purchase I was told that the store had a policy and that I was not allowed to load the bags of dirt I had just purchased into my car. I tried to explain, the bags aren't heavy and I really don't want anyone else loading stuff into my car. The attendant insisted that I don't have a choice and that it is a store policy. After a moment of back and forth where I was trying to make sense of this policy the store manager interjected himself to tell me that he was simply not going to let me put the bags of dirt into my own car.The manager first claimed this was a service they provide, when I said I don't want that service, I want to load the dirt into my car myself. The manager then pivoted from this being a "service" they were providing and informed me that they will not permit me to load my own purchase into my vehicle because it is an "inventory control issue" which is a polite way for this person to tell me that they think I am going to steal from them.Frankly, I don't like being told I am a potential thief. The store had my name and phone number from my Ace Membership and I had used a credit card with my same name. I am especially baffled by the store telling me that I can't be trusted to load the bags of dirt into my own car given that the bags of dirt sit unattended in their parking lot overnight. If I was inclined to steal bags of dirt, I probably wouldn't be inside the store asking to buy 10 at a time in the middle of the day.Further, I don't want someone else loading the bags into my car, I want to be able to make sure the bags are stacked myself and not torn or leaking water as they'd been out in the rain. It hardly seemed like an unreasonable ask to be able to load my purchases into my own vehicle. Next time I'll just get top soil from Lowes

Hardware for my cribs got lost in a move but Ian and Kaleb came to the rescue. Spending time until they got everything I needed. Personalized service that you wouldn't get at a big box store. I'll definitely be coming back and telling people about this store and the awesome employees!
