It was my first time at Mo'z and I will be returning. There is a small and cozy dining area and the staff is very polite and attentive.

Delicious food and friendly staff. We particularly enjoyed the vegetarian platter which offered a variety of dishes to try including spiced rice, Mediterranean salad, grape leaves, falafel, baba ganoush, hummus, and pickled veggies. Everything tasted great and we paired it with an Apple Barbican beverage from their grocery section and some baklava for dessert. Happy full bellies after lunch today :) Thanks Mo'z!

the taste is simply bomb, the sauces are a delicacy, there are simply no words! ??

Wow! This place has the best shawarma in Des Moines. I have been there twice, will definitely be back again.

The best falafel in town. Made fresh in- house. Such wonderful people that own it. We love it!

Wow, can’t believe I have not tried this place before. They make a killer gyro, salad, and hummus! Quaint dinning area in front. Looking forward to coming back!

We arrived and there was only one party of 3 ahead of us in line. We had a small order (2 shawarmas and fries, with a baklava upsell). We were told 10 to 15 minutes wait.It appears that there were a lot of Door Dash orders. Unfortunately, we waited 45 to 50 minutes for our order!! I had to ask to go instead.I might recommend calling ahead first to order, though another customer who came in for a pick up order appeared quite frustrated as well as he waited a while for his food after arriving. As for the food itself, the chicken schawarma and fries were good, and the baklava. Just not sure it was worth the in-restaurant wait.I'm quite disappointed in the wait time and no additional explanation or communication about it. I might be willing to try again as I want to like it and support a local business like this, but will call ahead next time to order and to see how long it would take.

The food was surprisingly bland, the service was good, what little there was, you order at the counter, get your bottled drink from a cooler, and they bring you the food. Still, the girl was very nice and checked on us a bit after the food came. They have a neat selection of drinks that are unusual for a white guy from Iowa at least. I'll go again and try something else.

Kabab grilled to perfection! Best Mediterranean food I have had in Des Moines. Clean place, nice service, nice atmosphere, good price, and high quality.

It’s a cozy hole in wall type atmosphere and a grocery store too with halal foods. The Mediterranean burger was one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten .Vegetarian options: Halal foods and falafel

Service was abysmal. Male sat at table playing on his phone. After 3 customers were lined up at the unstaffed counter, male went in back and summoned two women to wait on customers and ring up sales. Thin brunette of Syrian background was extra surly. Her attitude was that she was doing me a favor. The second star is for ample parking and a decent grocery selection. Prices were high, but not unreasonably high. I won't be back. I'll drive to Shahrazad in Overland Park if Amazon doesn't have it.

Very good chicken shawarma wrap. Pricing is high ($9.62) for no adtionals like fries ($3 addtional charge) or drink included though. Very good though overall although there aren’t many Mediterranean food options in Des Moines, until Halal Guys opens up in a few months
