Great place for our weekend stay!! Our pull-thru spot was fairly level, with a rock base. Full hook-up with 50 amp. Partial shade. Has a little playground, with plenty of room to run in the grass.
Playground: Small playground with swings and a slide.
Dog-friendliness: There is plenty of room to walk your pets in the grass or on the rock road.

Only stayed one Thursday night, but could have easily stayed more! Lots to do and see. In an RV so did not use facilities, but campground was clean, quiet and peaceful - especially with baby barred owls at night!

Been coming here since I was a kid so reminiscing for me only down fall walking from the cabins to the showers the stairs and bridges were not so nice kind of falling apart a bit
Playground: Multiple playgrounds within the park
Restrooms: The good bathrooms are a pretty decent walk but they are better smelling than the ones close to the cabins
Dog-friendliness: Outside the cabins they are welcome but they aren't allowed inside the cabins
Picnic area: Lots of picnic areas multiple shelters it's nice

One of my favorite parks. Absolutely beautiful after the rainfall as the cascading waterfalls are raging and wonderful. Very dog friendly with a plethora of trails. A huge campground. You can fish and picnic. There are a lot of bathrooms.there is a little barn that can rented for events. There are also shelters.

I wanted to give it 5 stars, but it's location is unfortunately too close to a very heavily traveled highway/bridge which makes it noisier that I like when I'm sitting by the campfire. If you don't mind road noise this is an excellent campground. We are hook and hopers and there were several sites available when we arrived. And they are nicely spaced and shaded. The pads are rock, but not the annoying crushed limestone that comes into your camper with you. We took advantage of the nice trails and made it to the waterfalls which I'm sure are more picturesque when there isn't drought conditions. We saw a couple playgrounds and several pit toilet houses about the park. I can't speak to the shower house as we didn't use it. A bit pricier than we're used to but the FCFS sites are full hookups which we usually don't utilize so pricing may be normal. We're very new to camper camping so take that into consideration when reading my opinion. Happy Camping!

Wonderful hiking trails, easy/convenient bike rental, beautiful woods and prairie remnants. Lots of special spots and voyages to be experienced within this park.

Beautiful park with large RV sites. A large lake with walking trails. Fishing and swimming. Fire pits you can grill on at each site. Kathy was our camp host and she is the sweetest person, she made sure to stop and talk to us and answer any question we had. Super nice lady. Highly recommend this park. Prices very reasonable. We will be back.
