We needed to have our van inspected because we were having it fitted with special equipment by the state, so the state required an inspection with ASE certified mechanic. I've never had a good experience at a dealership, but we had to take the van there for inspection. The mechanic failed us in multiple areas, and said our rear brakes had .12" (3 mm) left, so were a "red" category, meaning needs immediate attention. A few weeks later, I took the van to the mechanic we normally use, and he called soon after and said there was plenty of brake pad left (.25") on the rear wheels, and he would definitely keep driving it. Our brake pads had doubled in thickness during those two weeks! Miracle!
I talked to the service manager at Dale Howard, and he says that inspector is the best he has, but I still question the ethics of the guy.

Friendliest staff. Kaleigh was great to work with! She was knowledgeable, honest, friendly. Dylan in finance was equally great. He made sure to explain everything and help us have all the information before we made a decision. Brady was great to work with also when Kaleigh wasn’t available. We met Michael and Tony also. All super friendly and made this experience a good one. Even if we wouldn’t have purchased our 2017 GMC Acadia here, we would still recommend the dealership.
