My daughters have attended Goddard School of Waukee since infants. Since the first day, I have remained amazed at the quality of the staff and kindness toward Goddard families and children. Through the years, we have become close with almost everyone at Goddard and consider them as a second family.Communication with teachers has always been excellent and easy. They are very accessible willing to address questions or concerns anytime.The curriculum is also excellent and prepares children well for the next steps of their education. My oldest daughter started kindergarten this year and is performing well above all kindergarten criteria. She is already meeting first grade criteria. This seems to be common amongst many children graduating from Goddard and entering kindergarten; they are very well prepared and tend to be high academic performers.I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my children. Not only have they learned several core values of being kind and moral individuals but they are also academically ready to begin their educational journey with confidence.I highly recommend the Goddard School of Waukee.

We love The Goddard School. The teachers and staff are wonderful to work with. I feel confident that my children are safe and well taken care of when I drop them off. They also do a great job with the curriculum.

I cannot say ONE bad thing about this place. It was great from the moment we first walked in the doors until the day we left (very emotional!). EVERYONE there is 1000% committed to ensuring all the children are loved, included and learning each and every day. Get on the waitlist! You won't regret it!

I do not even have the words to explain what this school means to our family! Prior to Goddard, we had an awful daycare experience. My son would cry every single day. From the moment you step into the Goddard school, it’s such a calm warm/ loving environment. He has absolutely flourished during his time at the Goddard School! His teacher Miss Jessica in the 2s room is wonderful! She plans out the most amazing activities/ lesson plans for them. She puts in the time and effort into helping him grow not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. She goes out of her way to help each child succeed in their own way. He tells me everyday that she is his “ best friend”, and he is always so excited to go to school to see her! Holli the director, and Liz the on sight owner have become like family. They always greet you by name, and take the time to get to know each family personally. While our time at Goddard is being cut short due to a move and personal life changes, we will forever cherish our time there. They set the standard high, and no other school will ever compare!

Amazing teachers with so much heart and caring mindset. It’s wonderful seeing our 17 months old son get excited each day about going to daycare here. The kids are not just taken care of, they grow to learn here every day. The teachers really make an effort to engage with the kids and develop them in a very fun and engaging way. We are grateful to Miss Maggie, Jenny, Dipti and so many others whose name I may not recollect now. The management is really committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment and we’re very thankful to owner Liz and her whole team!!

My daughter has attended this school for several months. One of the most important things besides her joy in attending is the happiness of the teachers. This school has the most rested, patient, and generally happy early education teachers I've ever met. I don't know all the ways the school makes this possible but what ever it is it's working. They have even been able to retain staff during the pandemic. Something must schools haven't been able to do. In uncertain times I'm very glad I have the certainty of this school. I feel supported by the director and teachers. My daughter is happy and learning emotional regulation as well as academics. They also maintain NAEYC ratios. Which means less waiting and more attention for my kiddo.

I cannot thank Goddard School of Waukee enough! After a tough situation at our previous provider we were nervous to be able to trust our son somewhere again. Liz and all the staff at Goddard not only showed empathy to our situation but showed our son the love and care needed to be comfortable leaving him in someone else’s care again.They have handled the pandemic with an appropriate level of caution and respect to the kids and families. Really making everyone comfortable and keeping all the education and fun for the kids!So glad we made the decision to choose Goddard for our son’s early education!

Our son attended Goddard for 2 years and we had a wonderful experience. He enjoyed going to school and learned many social and educational skills. We found the staff to be very professional, excellent communicators and to truly care about our child. We are moving to Minnesota but will miss our Goddard as they really feel more like family than a school!

Sending our kids to Goddard was the best decision we've made for our kids. The education and guidance our kids have received has been first class. We've seen tremendous development with both of our children in educational and emotional skills. I have no doubt that my children will be better people from the teaching/guidance/lead by example/inclusive lessons they receive at Goddard.We've been through most of the rooms and there hasn't been a teacher that I would say is average. Every single teacher is top notch. Caring, nurturing, they effectively manage any situation that requires correction of behavior. The encourage great behavior. After every drop off I leave with a smile knowing my kids are in the loving care of the Goddard staff.The leadership team is caring, understanding and candid. I know what my children need to work on and I trust their judgment in any situation. During covid Goddard did not miss a beat. The handled covid exceptionally well with a smile on their faces. They request candid feedback and are receptive of it. The made sure the place was sanitary. The drop off/pickup process was a well oiled machine.I could go on and on about how much I love Goddard. I would send my kids to Goddard again if I had too. If you're looking for a place for your kids to flourish, be loved, treated with respect, learn to follow the rules and most importantly grow into the best person they can be, look no further than The Goddard School.

I came to Goddard in tears and in a panic after several bad nanny experiences. I can’t express to everyone out there the love, respect, comfort, and care I found at the school. We’ve been there now for over 5 years and not only have the teachers become like family but so have the other staff. They greet you by name and my girls “want” to go to school and love their teachers. Their teachers have also helped us through stressful transitions and growing stages in the girl’s lives. I have read a recent bad review and as a mom who never writes anything I feel compelled to share my story. I can tell you that I have never had a negative experience with Goddard, Liz, the staff or any teacher there. If anything came up it was brought to my attention first hand and we addressed it as a team. You will find nothing but a loving and caring environment at Goddard.

I can’t say enough about this school and the programs that they have to offer. The staff are amazing individuals that genuinely care about your child’s educational growth. My son graduated from this program and thrived in kindergarten this year. I would recommend this school for anyone that is looking for an exceptional experience for their child!

I cannot say enough good things about Goddard. We started at Goddard when they first opened and have been so grateful to be there ever since. It’s amazing to know and trust that our children are getting looked after and cared for by all their wonderful, loving, and yet professional, teachers. I love the curriculum and feel they help each child learn and grow in fun and exciting ways. My children truly look forward to going to school every day. Such a blessing to be able to take them somewhere you trust 100% with their safety and education. The owner Liz, the director Holly, and all their staff go above and beyond, and I will always recommend Goddard to any family looking for an exceptional early education!

Enrolling my child at Goddard has been one of the best parenting decisions I have EVER made. The quality of the staff at Goddard far exceeds any other daycare. They are so friendly, professional, and caring. The education and support she has received is unparalleled. The facility is clean, fresh, and updated. Our daughter has flourished while attending school here and we recommend it to all of our friends and family members. Hands down the best daycare in the area!!

The Goddard School is THE BEST place for early childhood. I would never put my children in another center. The teachers, assistants, and management are top notch. My children have learned so much from being here. My oldest will be heading to kindergarten and she will no doubt be top of her class. When Holly took over as director after our previous manager was no longer employed, things could not have gone smoother. Parents welcomed Holly with open arms and were so excited for the new (and much needed) change. Every child is of top priority to each and every faculty member. Never once have I had to worry about the safety of my children. We love Goddard!
