Came in to add a line for my middle school aged child. Clerk told us we were eligible for a free phone for the new line and my wife could get upgrade to an iPhone 14 for free if we upgraded to the unlimited plan. Went through with signing up for the new plan, and then the promotion for my wife's new phone changed to $300 towards a new phone, not a free one. Clerk tried to tell us that sometimes this happens when changing plans. We argued with her that you can't tell someone they can get a free phone if they switch plans and then say, "oops, just kidding." It wasn't until we threatened to leave that she "magically" found the promotion again. Then for good measure, she signed my child's and wife's new phones for their most expensive protection plan without asking if that's what we wanted to do or discussing the monthly cost. In fact, trying to extract what my new monthly bill would be from this clerk was pretty much impossible. Some of the worst customer service I've ever seen. Took well over an hour to do something that should have taken 30 minutes tops.

Waited a full hour to get a simple upgrade guy told me i owed him 300$ to pay off my phone when i got it free on a promotion called the 1 800# got my upgrade without paying 300$ ?

I am giving a "one star" rating, but actually it should be no stars. I am very disappointed. I actually checked reviews of Verizon Stores, and the reviews on line for this store were better than most of the local stores. I drove in hoping to be able to switch to a new phone and make some other changes in our account. The website said the store was open at 9:00 a.m., I arrived at 10:00. There was a sign on the door that said they were closed for inventory and to scan the code on the door for open hours. We have been with Verizon for 30 years, but in looking at reviews for all Verizon stores in our area I am wondering if I shouldn't research to see if another carrier would be better.

Good luck with their hours of operation, none that are listed are actual. It's 1122am currently, doors are still locked like they were at 945am last week when I stopped by. Maybe they're out of business? Or trying to be?

A mixed bag review: both sales associates I worked with were kind, helpful and thoughtful. I had ordered a phone that did not arrive (a Fed Ex issue not Russell Cellular issue). The manager was at first dismissive (stating there wasn't a lot they could do) while the sales associate called Verizon to help fix the situation. I said that I was frustrated as I had called twice and left three messages that were unreturned. The manager proceeded to argue with me, saying I had called a different store, that she always listens to the messages and replies, etc. I pulled up my call log and confirmed I had called the correct number. She continued to escalate the situation:showing me the notebook she wrote messages in, getting the phone, and reiterated that if I had called, she would know. This should have been a non issue. A "Oh, I don't know how we missed that" would have been fine, but insinuating that I am lying about something irrelevant to my issue is baffling.

Took malfunctioning 6 month phone to this retailer to move all info from old to new phone. Charged me $35, and then new phone did not finish uploading all info until 4 days after they sent me home, saying it was ready to go!!!!

Great service! I showed up 30 mins before close to look for a new phone, wasGonna come back and the store manager insisted it was no problem she would take of everything right there. Very satisfied and appreciate the customer oriented service.

Stopped in to try and get help with my account. There were two people ahead of me so my son and I looked around and then took a seat waiting. We patiently waited as one person got done and left and then the Verizon employee then handled the person ahead of us. He was transferring from an old phone to a new one. They sat and chatted while this process was going on not once stepping away while waiting to ask what I needed. Instead of waiting while his info transferred and talking about employees that left or were fired, the person could have stepped away and at least asked what we needed. I would have had no problem waiting further but then she made a comment to the customer that people come in and expect to be waited on instantly and they need to "hold their horses because I am just one person" Whether that was aimed at me and my son or not showed poor decision making skills in basic customer service so we left and went to another a different Verizon store.

Plays religious music loudly over store speakers. LONG LONG wait. Been in 3 times and each time I’ve had to wait at least an hour and a half. Manager won’t stop chatting with the customers long enough to do her job.

We scheduled an appointment for 12pm. Another lady walked in the door before us as the doors opened at 12pm. The worker starting assisting her and asked us what we were looking for. We stated we had an appointment at 12pm. She said she was the only one working and continued to help the other lady and said it would be awhile.We scheduled an appointment for a reason! We drove from out of town and have a newborn to take with us. You don’t help another customer without and appointment before someone that does. We had to leave the store and will be going to another Verizon location next time.Very upset on how it was handled and our time that was wasted!

Best phone transition ever. I’d been putting it off for so long because I dreaded it. They were fast and pleasant! Will do all of my Verizon transactions here!
