I like shopping here for groceries. If you know your prices, you can get pretty good deals on fresh vegetables. They also have a different selection of european foods.

Good food options, nice clean store. They only have one manned check out, and the rest is self-checkout. I subscribe to the idea that I don't work there, they aren't paying me to do that job, so I just wait in line for the person who IS being paid to perform that task.

It’s always a 50/50. I want to like it so much buut always come home with rotten food 1/2 the time once it is opened up. I would love to take it back and not post it but it’s not worth it after the 5th time in 2 month of the area. I’ll pay the extra price and go to Hyvee I guess.

"Made in the USA" ??
This is a very significant and important oversight on a lot of America's Retailers.
China and Russia are becoming Increasingly Aggressive and Hostile while American Retailers literally Pour Unprecedented Amounts of Money into China and Europe into Russia. Thereby funding China's and Russia's Increasingly Aggressive and Hostile International Intimidation of their neighbors.

This is a nice Aldi location, fairly recently built. It now has about 6 self checkouts and usually one one lane if you want a cashier. As with all Aldis, the prices are fantastic. I'm glad to have another option as Hyvee is exorbitant and fareway is not as value minded as they used to be. I've found that their house brands are overall great and as good or better than name brands yet somehow half the price.
