“We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Elk’s Club, and I must say, the day of the event was absolutely wonderful. The venue itself is stunning, with beautiful surroundings that made for an unforgettable backdrop to our special day. Our guests were in awe of the setting, and everything looked perfect.
The on-the-day coordination was exceptional. The staff were attentive, professional, and ensured that the event ran smoothly. From the setup to the service, everything was handled with great care and efficiency. We couldn't have asked for a more seamless experience on the day of our wedding.
However, I must mention that the planning process was a bit confusing and challenging. Communication with the vendor could have been better, as there were times when it was difficult to get clear answers or timely responses. This caused some stress during the planning phase, which could have been avoided with more streamlined communication and clearer guidelines.
Despite the planning hiccups, the overall experience at The Elk’s Club was positive, and we are incredibly grateful for how beautiful our wedding day turned out. If you're looking for a venue with breathtaking scenery and fantastic day-of service, The Elk’s Club is definitely worth considering. Just be prepared for a bit of a challenge in the planning stages.”

“Lovely hotel! It was very quiet and the staff was really friendly. Breakfast was delicious, especially the warm cinnamon rolls. I'm a coffee addict and theirs is really good. The room was clean and very comfortable.”

“After finding our previously booked hotel under remodelling we ran up the street to the Fairfield. Got a room and were happy to relax for nite. However, while showering the shower handle broke somehow and we could not turn off the water. We contacted the front desk and within a half hour the manager and staff person came and worked on the shower themselves. They were able to get the water turned off. They were a pleasure to work with and gave us a discount on our room. We are very pleased with the efforts they made and hope that they have someone check all their showers so it doesn't happen to anyone else!”

“Great building, quiet spacious rooms. Nice location. Needs to improve with housekeeping. Little details mean a lot, like a clean soap dish, a clean floors, and a clean shower really say a lot about the caliber of the housekeeping attention to detail.”
