I had a extremely painful rash on my face, neck, scalp, armpit, and groin area. I had been seen here for these issues a total of 6 times for this issue. Going to People's for 10+ years with two of my children. This rash flared up on my face and was so extremely itchy and painful so I decided to go in to People's again. This doctor named Samantha told me it was acne again. I decided to use my god given right and leave her appointment to get a second opinion. This doctor here accused me of acting erratic and said I was on drugs because of scabs on my face. Later that night DHS and a police officer showed up at my house to tell me about these allegations made against me. I had to wear a drug patch on my arm for a week to prove I was not on meth. And now am anticipating a home visit by DHS all thanks to this doctor. I am so incredibly disgusted to find out this hospital would accuse me of such things. All because I exercise my human right which is free will free choice. Since then my drug test came back perfectly fine and I have been referred to a dermatologist who has classified my rashes as unspecified and also they believe it's eczema or psoriasis. I refuse to ever go back to this hospital again. Anybody that I talk to I will refer them and tell them to not go there according to my experience. It's truly horrifying what this doctor accused a single mother of when she knew the truth and she was just simply offended I did not take her diagnosis. I have already did an intake at another local hospital which is where I'll be taking my children also. I hope nobody ever goes through what I went through. Please if you feel a doctor is not listening to your symptoms and diagnosing you wrong please go get second opinion no matter what that is your right!

Went here because the Test Iowa site said this was the location for them doing Covid testing and got treated like absolute 100% crap by the so called ARNP doctor after the nurse (That's was super nice) left the room.

Pharmacy is top notch, always great service. Kudos especially to Mark, Heather and Katie! If you need your prescription filled in the Cedar Valley recommend them if possible!

I got a call earlier today from Julie, my doctors nurse. When I received this call I was skeptical and was not expecting the contact. I felt that it was a angry call because I made this post. She stated to me that the State of Iowa refused to give me a Cannabis card. I did not respond to that and hung up the phone. This Cannabis card exist in the State of Iowa because it was approved. My understanding of how this works is through the discretion of the doctors not the nurse. The nurse told me no but not the doctor. I do not feel that my case was handled properly. She did not show any considerations towards my feelings. She did not mind telling me no. So she calls me expecting me to listen to her when she got a taste of the same rudeness when I hung up. Professionalism in the this profession is everyday because you work for the public. I just hope in the future that People's Clinic will see the importance of reputation. Picking and choosing who you give good service to is a bad formula and it can create problems like this. It is much easier to avoid these problems just by being good to everyone. I am sorry for this post but the phone call was not to apologize to me and my experience. I really appreciate the medical service because it can be a very demanding business. But people have feelings and they should always consider that. I still love my medical hero's and sheros I just want a response to this issue. If not I will seek another professional that see me in some valuable considerations. Peoples should look at this as a learning tool. You are struggling in ratings so my post is a verification that you have to get better. This is all I have and good bye.

Here’s all the reasons i would recommend people’s clinic: Always friendly. Through care. My doctor always remembers me. Willing to refer to specialist if needed. Willing to listen and work though all the concerns you have about your health. Best care in the cedar valley.

DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU'RE DESPERATE OR BROKE! Literally the worst psychiatrist (Dawn) I've ever "worked" with. She doesn't give a **** about her patients and has left me without my medication for the THIRD time in a row because she just can't seem to call it into the pharmacy correctly. She berated me in her office when I expressed concerns about my situation to make things even better. The only redeeming quality of this place is Dr Gerber and some of the social workers but, I'm telling you, don't come here for mental healthcare. Go to pathways or anywhere else.
