Went to Lowes AGAIN today. The nice clerk says oh your back…I said yes I need 10 bags of garden soil. I forgot my purse which had my Lowes card as well as my ID in that in which I had just used with earlier visit. The clerk found my account by phone number but would not let me use my account because I didn’t have my ID. I was able to pull my account up online and give her all the details of the account. I have done this before and there’s no ID verification except a yes or no question. I left pretty irritated, knowing that I do so much business at Lowe’s and I was just in here with the same clerk with the same credit card. I just ran home and had to run back and forgot my purse. Home Depot will be getting my business and I will be closing my Lowes account.

I recently had a disappointing experience at Lowe’s in Waterloo (#1712). After driving 45 minutes, I found their fruit trees in poor condition. When I asked for a discount on a distressed Fuji apple tree, the associate had to consult the manager, who rudely dismissed my request and walked away without explanation. The staff’s unprofessional attitude led me to leave without making any purchases. I’ve reported this to corporate and will be seeking other stores for my gardening needs.

Ordered an item online when I came to the store only one cashier was available to handle online purchases need to train more cashiers to handle online purchases. Also, I ordered two picnic tables . The 6 ft wooden picnic table was missing a piece it would be most helpful if the item was checked before selling to the customer.

I have given a three star as an average for my experiences in dealing with Customer service issues I am having over the last 7 months. Lowes Ankeny did an exceptional job with my custom cabinet order. My cabinets are beautiful and everything fits! I give them a 5 star rating. The Waterloo, IA store has been very challenging with the interior door order I placed. Our project is closer to Waterloo so decided to work with them for these. The order was seamless and well done by the initial clerk. Getting them is the issue. Complicated scenario, ordered 4 only one received but damaged. Sent back. Second time trucking co thought was a pick up not delivery so no doors again. Are supposed to be delivered today. I hope it happens. I live two hours away so having someone on site to accept delivery is critical. I am not proud of my response to all of the mix-ups. So frustrated, tempers flair. But I would hope that those responsible for all the mix-ups take responsibility and follow up to fix it. Lowes have good products.just ordered quartz countertops. I pray no issues. I know the store Mgr is busy but would have appreciated a call. Better training would be beneficial.

DOUBLE FINALLY: Apple Pay and Google Pay support at checkout. No mote going home for my wallet!!!
FINALLY: Self Checkout lane added. Now I do not have to interact with any of their untrained incompetent staff. Need Scan and Go checkout with the Lowes app like Sam's Club.
Curbside pickup available. You can check in with the app. However, nobody will ever bring out your order! It will take a half dozen phone calls. Then, maybe... if you're lucky!!!
The quality of the staff is just not good. Poorly motivated and poorly trained.
Competitive Appliance Pricing - service is lacking
They've got a good Android app. I've used it to show staff where to find things. If I could only interact with the app and self checkout it would be an ok place to shop.
I returned $214 worth of tile last week and got no credit back on my credit card. They want to review the security footage. Ok. You do that. I am disputing the charge with Visa!

When I walked into Lowe’s I asked 2 different employees where a item was and when I said sir..to get their attention they both rolled their eyes and one just wanted to pawn me off onto someone else. The first one just didn’t want to take the time and the second one didn’t know where anything was. The third person I asked was pretty inpatient but did find the plate racks I was looking for. I then went to the garden area and got a couple plants and paid for them and the two plate racks and the cashier forgot to hand the racks to me so I walked out without them. When I went back in to let her know that I didn’t get them she couldn’t find them. I asked for a refund cause I didnt want to run into the store to get some more. She said I had to go to cust service to get a refund. They wouldn’t give me a refund because I didn’t have the merchandise with me. It took half an hour to locate the racks and they were in a bag at the checkouts where I checked out still hanging on the bag stand.

I bought an offset grill / smoker and got a good price on it. They have good veteran discounts and the delivery program is one of the better ones out there.

Went in for a tool box and ones on the floor had alright damage to decals and paint. Asked for some sort of discount and was ready to purchase but was told if there is any damage they'd just send back on warranty. Doesn't make sense to me. So waited 10 minutes for a new one to get taken down from racking. Upon getting home storage tray doesn't fit. Will be emailing Lowe's on that issue.

We were traveling from Missouri and they didn't have what I was looking for, but the employees are a 5+. Our checker was so nice and helpful, everyone said hello. Nice place for sure compared to others we have been.

Do not even attempt buying paint from this location. I waited half an hour at the paint desk and never got help. I drove 35 minutes to this Lowe’s location to get paint and walked out with no paint. Coincidentally the Sherwin Williams Sales Rep for Lowe’s called my husband a few days ago asking about our previous experiences at Lowe’s. He will be receiving a phone call from us after this.
