“Not a huge drinker, so it is really nice that the employees are very helpful when I am looking for something. Last time I was in I was looking for mead, and they were able to help me find it right away. Not a huge selection of mead, but still more than I expected. Plus it is convenient to be able to also pick up a few items from the store and check out in the wine and spirits.”

“There's a BBQ trailer right in front "Rib Heaven" is the name. The owners are very welcoming and friendly! Bow let's talk about the food, I'm from TX so I know good BBQ and "Rib Heaven has some good BBQ! I ordered polish sausage and potato salad ($11) the potato salad ain't my mama's potato salad but it's close. Oh lawd let's not forget the polish sausage, it was dripping juices when he lifted it up off the grill. And it was just enough sauce not drowning the flavor of the meat. Unfortunately the ribs weren't done yet so we couldn't try them but whenever I'm in waterloo I will definitely be back to get my BBQ fix!??”

“I stopped in on New Years Eve to kill two birds with one stone, a bottle of champagne for later and dinner on my way home. Champagne ✓. A few nice upscale choices. What knocked my socks off was the cheeseburger and fries. Good ingredients cooked up by a real short-order cook who knew his trade. This is no fast food joint that we've allowed ourselves to become accustomed to. I haven't had fries that good in years. The proprietor was as helpful as could be too.”
