“After finding our previously booked hotel under remodelling we ran up the street to the Fairfield. Got a room and were happy to relax for nite. However, while showering the shower handle broke somehow and we could not turn off the water. We contacted the front desk and within a half hour the manager and staff person came and worked on the shower themselves. They were able to get the water turned off. They were a pleasure to work with and gave us a discount on our room. We are very pleased with the efforts they made and hope that they have someone check all their showers so it doesn't happen to anyone else!”
“Wonderful stay last night!! I loved the great selection of vending machine sandwiches and snacks for late night arrivals - what a nice personal touch. Room was clean and beds were comfy!! Quiet location - felt safe /secure. Staff were very gracious and friendly. Only complaint - no light when u first walk in the room and/ or above the mirror.Food & drinks: Nice variety of vending machines for sandwiches / snacks. Breakfast had a nice variety!! Food was hot!”
“Great building, quiet spacious rooms. Nice location. Needs to improve with housekeeping. Little details mean a lot, like a clean soap dish, a clean floors, and a clean shower really say a lot about the caliber of the housekeeping attention to detail.”

“Overall, it was a great place. Clean, friendly staff, awesome breakfast options, something for everyone. The pool was closed due to remodeling. Bed was comfortable. However, the mattress cover had blood stains and pink marker on it. I brought it to Sue at the front desk , and she didn't seem to surprise me, but thanked me for informing her. I didn't make a big fuss because I always bring my own bedding. But a discount or a credit for a future Hilton brand would have been nice. I give a 9/10.”

“staff was amazing one out of the way to help us breakfast was wonderful they had sausage and biscuits and gravy waffles bagels breakfast bars toast cereal for the money and the location this place was amazing and the second shift lady 3 to 11:00 went out of our way especially to get us anything”

“Bathroom was really tiny. But other than that it was okay.
Rooms: Room was reasonable size but bathroom was SO small. Shower curtain wouldn't fit the bar so the water went all over the floor. I would suggest bringing your own pillows because their pillows are so tiny.But other than that it was okay.”

“The lady at the front desk was outstandingly pleasant and helpful. I asked for a top floor room with a view and she did not disappoint. The gentleman that was there the next morning was equally pleasant to deal with. A great room for the price. I will definitely stay there again!”

“Great for the family, and business!Rooms: 9 out of 10 very clean sheets and pillow cases and towels and spotless rooms and bathrooms. You will not be disappointed I highly recommend the DAYS INN. In Waterloo IA.Food & drinks: Need a different brand of coffee. Make simple breakfast available for the people who work the night shift... time to shake up the the breakfast and be the best hotel breakfast in town... still a very good breakfast. They will make you feel at home!!!”
