We brought students to go to the John Deere facilities and rented out 10 rooms. The front desk was great and prepared, the breakfast was great, the common areas were clean and nice. The rooms however were not up to Holiday Inn Express standards. Broken outlet covers, mold in some rooms, silly string on ceilings, bad odors in most of the rooms, and rooms felt not very clean. My students wanted to stay else where. I stay in Holiday Express frequently and this is the first one where the rooms were not nice.Rooms: Dirty, broken outlets, and smelly.

Very nice hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff. Tanya at the front desk was awesome and very helpful. Close to all amenities. Will stay here again.

My stay was just ok. My room wasn't the cleanest, there were room cards that the previous occupants left that room cleaners didn't see. There was hair in the bathroom, no fresh toilet paper rolls in holder. My room just felt icky. The free breakfast could've been tastier as well. The scrambled eggs were sub par, and the bacon could've been cooked longer, I could hear it oink! And they had turkey sausage patties??! C'mon! ??♀️I've had better stays at different Holiday Inn Express hotels. :(

Good job reducing waste with refillable bottles! Now get into temperature reduction of the scalding hot water which is costing you more money, risking injuring customers and raising your green house gas foot print with more energy needed to heat the water than necessary.

I was traveling south from Minnesota, and decided to pull off and stop here for the night. The front desk staff were very polite and helpful. I got checked in quickly. I didn’t do anything but go straight to my room after parking, but the amenities and the overall feel of the hotel were nice. I had a corner room at the end of the hall which was an oversized room. Bed was comfy, room was dark at night, and the bathroom was nice enough. I would recommend.

I rarely post a review, but the indifference by staff at this hotel motivated me to do so. Hot tub is filled in with concrete. Not thoughtfully considered for traveling adults in Iowa.Breakfast:No milk, no biscuits, not even 1 piece of fruit, no sweet rolls, hot water spout fully crusted and calcified allowing a thin stream of water through. Eggs were crispy and dry. Turkey sausage was dry. The other meat was not able to be identified; it kind of looked like spam or bologna, but it wasn't and it tasted HORRIBLE.Staff was cleaning up breakfast on a Sunday morning at 920am with a room full of people. They told my kids and me that "they" must have shut down the pancake machine because of the time. I said to staff that it clearly says it is empty and I opened the lid to show her it was empty. She repeated that "they" must have shut it down. Breakfast is stated to be over at 930. Had to ask for milk so the kids could have cereal.I am not staying here again. I wouldn't recommend it to a friend. The hotels do not care if you leave a bad review; they don't make changes accordingly. The only thing they respond to is people choosing to stay somewhere else.

Room smelled and carpet was stained and dirty. Beds were comfortable. Didn't sleep because you could hear every noise in the hallway.

The rooms are kind of dated. The people are friendly! Unfortunately, there seems to be a lot of glitter everywhere. Their explanation of trying to get it cleaned up was a little questionable. I would say purchase a better vacuum cleaner. Maybe a Dyson?

Great hotel. Super nice staff, easy check in. Everything was large and clean. Whole place seemed new. Close to food, gas, and freeway access.

Staff was super nice. Very clean rooms. The only complaint was you can't use the pancake machine and they make them then put them in a crockpot...Yuck! Everything else is AWESOMERooms: Clean!

I will start off by saying I was reserved a room by my job. I showed up at checkout time...bummer. every room needed to be turned over and they are short staffed. I give them an A+ in hospitality A+ in response to concerns A+in teamwork AA++ in cleanliness with rushing. I highly recommend this hotel. The shower pressure is a dream...just a true dream. I was very pleased ?.

i booked over the phone and was given a rate of $129 per night. when I woke early before checking out I had a bill for $580 for 3 nights. the person at the front desk couldn't do anything and Shauntel called the police. the manager was unavailable. customer service said it would take 24-48 hours to figure out. I was told "THERE'S NOTHING WE CAN DO!". I'm never staying at a Holiday Inn Express again.

Today July 20, 2023I am here now, my job reservered a room for me and I happened to show up durning check out time. Apparently they were packed to capacity so they had all rooms to clean. I had to wait about 2.5-3hrs before anything was available..BUT the manager (I would assume) let me know the deal and kept me aware of how long it would take.. I waited in the lobby and played games read a book. The smell of clean was very refreshing!!! The housekeepers were working very hard matter of fact all the staff to turnover rooms while still receiving calls and visits for reservations. I am proud to say this is one hotel I would return to..because of concern for customers and how hard they work..unfortunately understaffed. This is a thankless job but we are like a place to rest that is convenient and clean and we can because of how hard they work. When my room was ready it was so clean and smelled so fresh..the floors were clean as well. Be nice and appreciative when you check in here because they truly work hard. A huge plus..they had chocolate chunk chocolate chip cookies in the lobby which were freaking delicious. I am very thankful for their attentive attitude and cleanliness and hospitality.

Hotel was very nice and the staff was great. Location has plenty of food options close by. Only issue is the bathroom could have used a little more attention to the cleaning. Bunch of hairs all around and some small debris on the floor.
