My son took his Honda van to Honda dealer in Cedar Falls and they said they needed to take out remote start as this was causing the problem and wanted 200.00 + 75.00 to diagnose it. We paid the 75.00 and said we did not want them to take the remote start out. We took the van to Farris Stereo and told them what it was doing. They spent several hours checking it out and updated some software. We asked what we owed and we agreed to take it home and see if we were still having issues. It's been over a month and the software update evidently fixed the problem. We asked what we owed for the hours of working on this and the owner said 20.00 for lunch for both of us.This business has been doing stereo and remote start service for years and they know more than any dealership! Thank Goodness we did not let them remove the remote start.Thank you Farris Stereo.Ryan and Janie Hull

Worst experience I have ever had form the moment we walked in person behind counter didn't greet at all he's what do you want them proceeded to talk to me like I was two he was chewing his gum like a cow chews cud explain that I need an adapter because the one I had wouldn't work for my radio he said nothing went in back came back in and said here and tossed the adapter on the counter i picked it up to look at at it and he literally snatched it from my hand and walks in back and says nothing waited couple minutes he then comes out with a apple slice and no adapter then says so do you want it or what me staring at him dumbfounded says yes he then goes in the back once again to get adapter

I called on a Monday to see how busy they were. My radio failed and had two days till we leave for vacation. He worked me in that day and the installer even gave me a quick lesson on how to operate the new deck. Apple and Android enabled. Great deck, price and excellent customer service. Will definitely be back.

I went in to get some quotes on installing q double din head unit in my Audi A4. The person behind the counter went in the back, checked and told me i was better off going online. The only car stereo place between Waterloo and cedar falls tells me to go online! Well... They must be in a good position to turn down business like that in these times. Oh well, time to travel out of town.

I have been going to Farris for years now and will continue to give them my service in the future for the simple fact that they KNOW what they are doing,they are reasonably priced, and are just great people to get to know. Farris has ALWAYS gone out of their way to give the greatest customer service and always either working with what I had or making sure to mention a deal they have coming up so that I get what's best for me. Always pleased with Farris and their service.

Brought my 1999 Acura TL to have an aftermarket head unit installed. No issues that I provided all the parts and they just did the install. It turned out amazing and I’m loving every second of being in my car.Good people and they do good work, the install it’s self was pretty cheap.
