Great experience with Caring Transitions of Northeast Iowa. Jon and his team helped us with a move on one of the coldest days of the year. Our possessions were handled carefully, wrapped and moved exactly on schedule and for the price they quoted. They even packed the storage so well, that we didn't need and extra storage locker (saving us $100's of dollars).We also had the sell a bedroom set, living room furniture, tv's and stands that we wouldn't be using. They moved it, stored it marketed it and sold it for a fair price. I know people blame places like Caring Transitions when their china, old furniture and antiques don't bring what their "collectors guide" says they are worth. Fact is, not many people want that stuff any more. It's NOT their fault your collection didn't fetch what the collectors guide said it should. They market your items in a physical way and online, the market decides what they are worth.Great service. Highly recommend them!

Personnel we’re exceptionally courteous and polite, and thoroughly professional in relocating us from our former residence to our current home. I highly recommend them.

Being 1300 miles away was a challenge but Jon and his team got it done. They even returned some forgotten personal items. Their honesty is a breath of fresh air! And their price is fair. I would recommend them 100%!!

Don't advertise items that sell before the sale even starts. I waited in line for an hour to try and buy an item that was advertised only to be one of the first people in the door and be told they were sold before the sale even started. I would love to know how I can come buy things before the sale starts so I don't have to wait in line like everyone else. I also wonder how you can just take pictures of whatever you want and it doesn't need to be there when the sale starts. False advertising and a complete waste of time is all I got from this sale and will never be back.

My daughter and I had the responsibility of taking care of my uncle's estate. He had no children or other family members nearby. We had been through this experience with my mother four years before and knew that it can at times feel overwhelming. My uncle's home was in another town which made things more difficult. Caring Transitions was recommended to us by a friend so we hired them to remove and sell the contents of the home. Let me say that it was above and beyond our expectations. They emptied the home quickly, cleaned up afterwards and sold the contents a short time later. After the sale the profits were deducted from the moving bill which even after their cut left us with only a very small amout due. We were so happy. Caring Transitions made our task so much easier.

Thank you Ron!The Caring Transitions of Northeast Iowa, and owner Kerri Shimp, did an excellent job helping me close out my Uncle’s Estate by conducting an Estate Sale on the household furnishings and other items. They walked us through the process providing a very thorough detail of how the sale would be handled, what happens to left over items and what the costs and commissions would be. They removed all items from the house and even cleaned up afterwards which is not something we had expected them to do. Once the items made it to their warehouse they then sorted and cleaned all the items that were put up for sale. They were courteous, professional and kept us continuously updated throughout the process. The sale was held in a timely manner and did not take weeks or months from cradle to grave. Handled in a very timely manner with fair prices assigned to the items by them.Everything they said would happen did and there were no hidden secrets. I would recommend them to everyone. I recommend you listen to what they have to offer and you always have the option to say no but I am confident you will join in partnership with them. We give them 5 stars and were completely satisfied with their organization and help.Ron

Had a GREAT experience! Was affordable and so smooth to let them take care of cleaning out my great uncles condo. Had sale a few weeks later on hos household items and did great there too. Highly recommend them!

What an amazing group! Kerri and her team will do everything needed to move a loved one to a new home.. They handle every detail in a move in a caring, friendly manner. It made things so easy for me in Arizona to move my mother's items twice.. once from her home to a retirement facility in Iowa, then once again to an assisted living community nearer to me in Arizona. Keep up the great work Kerri and thanks once again!
