Austin got me into a brand new 2024 Hyundai Tucson and I couldn’t be happier! Between him and Jeff in finance I had an overall very good car buying experience. Way less stressful than the last time I bought a car!

The staff was nice and I felt Cameron went over the top prior to the purchase, however, when it comes to following up after purchase, forget it. I needed a fob battery and a paint stick, both of which he said over and over they would be mailed to me, have not a few months later. After a few emails and calls I've given up realizing the customer service after the purchase is awful.

I GOT RIPPED OFF-I am 18 years old,I got an auto loan for my first vehicle a few months back, I got a 2013 Lincoln. The auto loan was 13,000$ plus 26% interest rate. This was my first vehicle so I thought i got a “okay” deal,it was far from okay, U could say I got scammed out of 22,000$ for a 10 year old piece of garbage vehicle. That got financed from somewhere in texas,I live in Waterloo. I work hard for a living as a plumber apprentice At young plumbing. I got to drive the vehicle for about 2 minutes, and they start pushing papers in my face. they try to give me the vehicle with no warranty. That same day i go home my mom sees the SUV and notices a cracked drivers side mirror,she touched it and the whole mirror fell out, we take it back and she demands a warranty and they gave it to me. But only an engine warranty The next day I get ready for work and i get into my car and the check engine light comes on. Than it turns back off,a week later it turns back on. I ignored it. A month later i had to replace the tires because my tire had a whole in it,which i will give them the benefit of the doubt and say it may have been my fault.A month later,I open up the sun roof and the whole sun roof fell in and won’t close. I do not use the sun roof because i have no need for it. But the one time i did it doesn’t work, Im sure i will continue to find problems with this vehicle. I tried to trade it in but they said i could not trade it in without my mom cosigning,my mom is on disability so she can only sign for one vehicle that being her vehicle. I just find it weird how they can sell me a piece of garbage and make me pay 600$ a month but not let me trade it in for a vehicle that I feel safe driving.

Moved from Oregon to Iowa. Towed a small trailer from an Outback. Just wanted a check up and for them to look a few things on my mind. After a literal 7.5-hour diagnostic, in which they knew I was waiting patiently, they brushed off all of my legitimate concerns, made up some new stuff that would cost me another $1k, and then charged me $300 for the diagnostic.I then went to Midas in Cedar Falls where they did the exact same diagnostic for half the price, in 45 minutes, then proceeded to flag the exact things I was trying to get fixed in the first place, and proceeded to fix them, giving me a discount due to my financial difficulties, and being finished in a third the time it took C&S to invent fake problems.C&S is the only certified Subaru that I know of in Waterloo. But their service was the worst I've ever received. I had to break my spell of only going to certified Subaru joints. And I'm not sad about that.

I was searching for a vehicle and in need of help and one of their salesmen was texting me back and forth trying to help or so I thought. it turned into inappropriate messages and pictures being sent to me and when I reported it the following day, I did not even receive an apology nothing happened I received one email that they would look into it and that's all I ever heard . I was not looking for a date I was trying to search for a car

I had a great experience at C&S with Dustin, purchasing a 2023 Tucson! I initially went in and told him, “Definitely not a Tucson,” but after listening to my wants and needs, he convinced me to check out the new body style on the Tucsons and he was right—I loved it! The first one I test drove didn’t work with our budget, and Dustin respected my decision to go home and think it over. When I returned the next day, he helped me find a different one that was slightly less “fancy,” but still had the same safety and convenience features as the one I loved. They worked with me to get it into my desired budget and I drove away a happy customer! Excellent experience!

We were cruising car lots today with our hearts set on a newer Blazer. Stopped at C&S and found a couple other options that would be comparable but we weren’t in love with anything. Made our way to the main lot and Dustin convinced us to give the Tucson a closer look. I was skeptical but willing to be open minded. Yeah, drove home in it just a couple hours later. No regrets!Thank you Dustin for your absolute faith in these cars that made me not only a believer but an owner!

I needed a car quickly because my transmission went out on my other car. I went on line and spotted a car at C&S Car Company, a used Subaru Forester. Called the dealership and talked with Caleb. Caleb offered to pick me up and bring me to the dealership since I didn’t have a car so I could take a test drive. So I did just that…I call that great customer service. Caleb did a great job answering my questions and making sure I was getting the right car for me. I loved the car, decided to purchase it, signed papers but then had to wait until the next day to pick up the car so the company offered me a loaner car to drive home…again, great customer service.The next day I was driving home in the car I had wanted.

LEMON LEMON LEMON this lot sells more lemons then a fruit stand and won't even return your call when your busted lemon inevitably breaks down and leaves you stranded across the country just outside the "limited warranty" window. Bought my lemon 2 months ago, this morning it doesn't start. Called them when they opened this morning, they said they'd call me "right back, maybe 15 minutes" well that was about 7 hours ago. Call them back again and get transferred to nowhere, over and over. Nobody will even pick up the phone. Don't go here unless you like sitting on the side of the highway someplace waiting for a tow truck to take your new lemon away.

I don't usually write reviews but people need to be warned about this company. Please don't just take my word for it but check out other 1 star reviews and read what they are doing. This place is a scam. They lie, promise and make you believe they are selling you a quality vehicle. Whatever you do ... DO NOT GIVE THEM A DEPOSIT! They will bait and switch on you or sell you a lemon then keep your deposit if you back out. If you have already been scammed please make sure you call the attorney General, call Subaru headquarters, call Msxda headquarters, call Hyndua headquarters, call auto trader, call the news. Make a tic tok video or YouTube video of their lies and scams. Everyone needs to pull together to get these scammed out of business. Look at their Yelp reviews too. Plus all the bad reviews under different C & S websites. They have multiple websites.

I would drive an additional 200 miles if necessary to buy a car from Scott Thurn at C&S Car Company. He makes the buying experience painless and enjoyable. Absolutely no pressure, such a nice guy!

I just bought my first NEW car at C & S and I couldn't be happier! Dustin had everything ready for me when I came in and I just had to fill out the paper work with Alex, she did a great job and was super friendly! Have you seen the 2023 Hyundai Tucson's yet?!

I expressed via the internet and text with Scott that I wanted a Forester white sport model, however he only had the black model in shipping. I didn't like the black and Scott worked his way through and told me he could get a white one for me! I was very happy and he gave me a good price. I drove 3 hours from Wisconsin to get it! The wait for the car won't be long and I'm glad I was able to get it here.
