Took a 34 Ford Tudor in 2018 across country for restoration. Quoted 70-80 thousand for complete restoration. in 2020, they acted like it was almost finished, just a few more things to do. Then covid happened...... work stoppage, can't get anything. I get that, but they kept it for 4 more years. Also kept wanting more money. We paid $95,000 and my husband decided to go get it and stop the money bleeding out. The engine doesn't run and the interior isn't finished. It's like they just lost interest in this (except for collecting more money). I imagine it will cost us at least $20,000 more to get the work finished somewhere else. I made a post on their facebook page and they blocked me. Not too thrilled with this place at this point. Would not recommend.

Midwest rod completed the body, paint, electrical/engine install on our 50’ ford pickup with he finish work left to us. They were great to work with and did clean work however upon getting the truck home we noticed several issues. Our paint job looks great from 10 feet away but any closer there are plenty of runs in the paint (grill, fenders, doors, and hood) and orange peel on the rear of the cab.Disappointed to say the least for what we paid for the paint and body. We also have several blisters on the doors where in 80+ degree daysthe paint will actually blister up away from the door, a little concerning for the rest of the truck so I’m holding my breath. Into a year of driving the truck and the paint has held up well but we will see as time goes on. Electrical issues are to be expected when you aren’t handed a turn key vehicle, they were easy to sort out so not really an issue. Wish we had better quality paint!!!!

Went to go check in on a project with my dad. Loved the few minutes I got to spend there. So many cool projects in the works. Owner was really nice. Got a very professional update about our project and got to hear some cool stories about the other projects.

Sent my son up there to have work done took over a week when he got it back he had to take it somewhere else to have it done right. I had some work done awhile back also an had to take it to Morning Sun an have it fixed right. really hurt the Bill's having it not fixed the first time

Kept car for 3 weeks, returned it incomplete. Had to take to another place to have another almost grand of work done. Insurance billed for about twice what the car owner knew about and was given an estimate for. Customer was told nothing due by an employee, then received a bill. When unhappy about bill, was berated and called names by the "co-owner" in financial department. Called a sexist for wanting to talk to the co-owner that customer originally dealt with regarding repairs. Yelled at like a child to "look at her" when she spoke - worst display of a worthless employee. Actually perfect example of a worthless employee. Rather than "co-owner title" - should be "unemployed" title. There are not enough "negative" stars on this earth for this company's review. Put a minus in front of this star for true rating.

I had them do some windshield and glass work on a gasser coupe. The price was reasonable and the service was great. Very friendly, capable, honest, family owned business.
