“Great place, looks new, spacious very clean bathrooms with a wonderful diaper-changing set-up that includes a toddler seat by the changing table. Not just gas station snacks, but real food, too. Bananas, onions, eggs, dairy etcA separate table and booth section for eating was nice.Busy, well-lit, comfortable and clean.”

Sometimes, I have my groceries carried to my car, and for this, I always tip a few dollars, nothing life changing. I was surprised to learn that tipping is quite rare. Bigfoot sightings seem more numerous.

“Good place to stop on a trip. No ethanol 91 and 87 with ethanol, no midgrade like other states. Inside was clean and well lit with lots of products to choose fŕom. Great selection of coffee and the doughnuts looked fresh.”
“Kevin, Jeff, Rose, and Dale make this place feel like home. They make this Casey's note worthy. Friendly familiar faces. Jeff and Rose work diligently in the background to keep things running smooth. Dale and Kevin are like an old married couple.... Bantering back and forth with each other and customers make it fun. I look forward to my morning Casey's visit because of the great people working here. This place would make a good TV sitcom.”

“Had a wonderful experience at 1738 Casey's in Adel on October 17th,2022. I ordered pizzas 3 hours ahead of time. Got to the store right as they pulled them out (note: time requested). Had a few other items on the counter for the register that was workin. She was so patient and kind with me as I went to grab my pipping hot delicious pizzas. When I got back to her counter I checked the pizzas. I asked her about more marina sauce cups for my bread sticks and she was more then happy to get me more. Great job!!”

“So sad that Casey’s switched out the brewed coffee for the machines! The reason I don’t stop at Kum&Go is because their coffee isn’t drip coffee. If you know coffee, you know the machines don’t taste as good!”
“It’s by far the best kum & go it’s a little out dated but they work with what they got. The food is always fresh there freezer is always full and it’s a good environment to be in, the workers are super nice and friendly highly recommend adding this to your morning routine.”
“We love Casey's, and especially this location. The food is fantastic and their workers are so friendly. They also keep the location (including rest rooms) clean. One worker, James (IV?) always greets us as you walk in the door, is friendly at check out, and is just an overall fantastic employee. Yesterday when I made a pit stop between jobs, he was even outside cleaning off the outdoor freezer for the bags of ice! He had a spray bottle and rags, wiping it down. That was the only time in our nearly 15 years in this town that I have seen an employee do this. Super work ethic. I was impressed. Thanks everyone at Casey's for keeping the place clean and friendly. It keeps us coming back.”
“After the move from Ankeny to Urbandale, we have settled on this Hy-Vee as our usual grocer of choice. There is always a nice selection and great produce. Typically I can find everything I need on my shopping list in this one store. While I love the Waukee store, I do miss having a Starbucks inside, but it makes sense because there is a free-standing store across the street. I loved the Prairie Trail store in Ankeny because it seemed to be larger, but I could be wrong. The only thing I find disappointing is how Hy-Vee like so many other retailers seems to be pushing to the self-check lanes. How can I find a "Friendly Smile in every aisle" if I am dealing with a machine? No thanks.”
“Overall, a great a service station. The gas prices were on par with the going rate in Iowa, bathrooms were clean, and there's an Arby's attached to it. They have a huge selection of stuffed animals/lovies for the little ones and fountain drinks, snacks, and hot pizza.The location is nice because it less busy than the Des Moines stations. Plus, it has some green space to let the kiddos and/or pups move around a bit.”

“I have had great experiences at this pharmacy and specifically the pharmacy technicians have been super helpful. Even though they are super busy, they still take the time to listen to questions and get prescriptions filled in a timely manner. The technician, Gideon, has helped me out.on several occasions as I have had to use GoodRx with several medications that were not covered by my insurance, and with fixing an issue when there was a mix up on the amount of medication filled.”
