We ordered flowers from this shop one time for family members who live in the Des Moines area. Months later, the shop made three fraudulent charges on our credit card, totaling hundreds of dollars. I now see from this Yelp page they have done this repeatedly to other customers. Steer clear of this company!

Wonderful service. Quick & Professional. I called mid afternoon after they were already out delivering flowers, and they still let me get a rush order in and delivered within a short time!!! True lifesavers during the holidays.

Just beautiful arrangement and flowers so unique and gorgeous color! They wee sent by a friend to look like a cupcake ad came with a pink Champaign cupcake! I can't wait to use this florist for something special I might need

I recently ordered what I thought was represented on The Wild Orchid's web site called "Funky for Fifty" which is represented as a beautiful bouquet of flowers. The product they delivered was not even close. It was a plant that is to be cared for. I called to inquire and spoke to Karen who was very unpleasant and rude to talk to. She kept interrupting me and was definitely on the defense as opposed to listening to a customer concern. I do not recommend using this florist. I will never use them again.

I called and asked for a $75 bouquet (including delivery/tax, so $50ish bouquet) for a visitation. I said I wanted an arrangement of pink flowers with a little baby breath. When I got to the visitation I was embarrassed and felt the need to apologize to the family of the deceased. It looked totally unprofessional and rushed, like someone just put in a handful of pink roses and then crammed in as much baby breath as possible into a hideous vase. It almost looked lopsided too. I was expecting a variety of pink flowers with just a little baby breath sprinkled in with a simple/normal vase, or at least for it to be mainly pink flowers like I requested. It seems most of my money was put towards the vase that must have been in their pile of “ugly vases no one will buy”, because who would want that. Overall it looked ridiculous next to all of the other beautiful flowers at the visitation.

This place does not exsistEdit: Immensely rude, felt the need to pm me on Facebook with a snarky response. It seems like they do this to everyone though. Very unprofessional in my opinion. I would never speak to anyone like this, let alone a customer.And good luck finding them because I went around the front AND the back and they weren't there ?♀️

We live in Arizona and we ordered the "Funky for Fifty" bouquet, as shown on their Grimes Iowa store website, for my MIL's 90th Birthday. The bouquet as shown was beautifully designed with many different types of flowers. When delivered it was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! The shop thought substituting the beautiful multi-flowered bouquet with a single flowered plant was a good idea---IT WAS NOT. We contacted the owner and were told that we should have read the fine print. We read the fine print, it has no verbiage indicating that the owner may substitute a single flowering plant for a huge multi flower bouquet. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FLOWER SHOP!!!

I called the Wild Orchid on a Saturday morning to see if they could create a very "Iowa" wild flower bouquet for my daughter who had just gotten engaged. The staff listened to my request and put together and delivered a fabulous unique bouquet the same day. They were also able to add a box of wonderful Belgium chocolates and homemade dog treats for my daughter's dog. They delivered the bouquet and gift basket the same day (and was able find the house in rural Carlisle). I will definitely call Wild Orchid for future floral needs!

Do not use this company. They confirmed my delivery for Friday afternoon but my family never received the arrangement. I called Monday and they claimed the delivery was left with the neighbor. They then called hours later to say my family member never answered the door when they brought "fresh" flowers over despite them working from home all day. After multiple phone calls with a very confused and less than friendly employee, they again left flowers with the neighbor. They finally made it to my family (thanks to the neighbor who walked them over) and they were nothing like what I paid for. Choose someone else for your flower needs.

The Wild Orchid went above and beyond to make sure a beautiful bouquet of orchids was delivered around the holidays. They were so kind and lovely and their customer service truly is exceptional. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a beautiful display, and wonderful interactions in the process!
