Do not do drive up here ??♀️ Takes at least 15 minutes for them to come out. On top of that, we’ve been several times where cars that came AFTER us get served BEFORE us. I used drive up all the time when I was in Coralville and no problems at all - literally so quick, but I guess Urbandale didn’t get the memo.

Honestly super disappointed in this target. Hard to find things and their inventory/supply process must be messed up because good luck finding matching conditioner and shampoo. And don’t look for it in the personal care sections next to the body wash as god intended, go clear over to makeup and cosmetics. Also nearly all the exit doors were blocked by carts. And they do not carry vanilla cocoa cola apparently. Pay more and expect less at the grimes target.

Why is there always roughly 1 employee working the 14 checkout lanes at this location? Multiple employees hanging out, shopping people’s online orders while 10 people stand in line for 15 minutes. Too many items to use the self checkout. So annoying…

I was very disappointed in this store today. We checked with the store and was told they had both a 50 inch Roku tv in the store and a 50 inch tcl tv. We drove from out of town only to be told when we got there that they actually had neither in stock. Of course they had a 55 inch available for $100. More. Don’t like this bait and switch method of selling. Very disappointed

Grocery pickup process is terrible. I am the only one there to pick up groceries, they wait until several people are in the lot, and then I get mine last. Has happened more than once.

Pat in customer service was very rude and not helpful when dealing with issues concerning our pick up order. Very disappointing in their customer service.

I did a pick up order in the morning and it was ready by my lunch hour, I checked my order and cancelled 3 items because they were not "in stock". When I picked up my order the same day I went to see if I could find some items that would work. Tell me why I was able to find 2 out of 3 items that had not been found. If I had known it would be easier to find the items myself I would have never done pick up. B+ for everything else, D+ for pick up.

I ordered mermaid-themed cupcakes from the bakery. They exceeded my expectations, so in March I went again to the bakery to see what they could do for a safari jungle-themed baby shower. Justin, who had done the mermaid cupcakes, was so helpful. He made the most awesome jungle animals decorated on cupcakes that matched the dinnerware (See attached photos). I was blown away with how darn cute they were! Please give Justin the recognition he deserves. He is top notch! Rarely do you find someone who goes above & beyond expectations & is so willing to do so; and with such professional & eye-catching creations. Target is so lucky to have such a. talented individual in their bakery! He has my business!

Open more check out lanes if you don’t want more than 10 items in the self check out, waste of time!! You only have 2 people checking out. I love self check out because of the ease of checking myself out, getting in and out of the store in a timely manner, you need to change the policy on self check out or get more workers to check out more customers. Nobody wants to wait for people in line to have somebody check them out when self check out is completely open and available.
