The only place to go to support small business when buying soccer gear in Des Moines! Always greeted when walking through the door. Their set up is unique so you see a little of everything they have as you walk in the door. They always have a great clearance section and also just every item you'd need to play/coach soccer as well.

Please steer clear of this shop if you can. It’s one of the most irresponsible establishments I’ve encountered. I ordered a jersey, which arrived three months after all the games had ended. When I contacted the shop, they couldn’t provide any valid excuse. They placed all the responsibility on the customer, offering no option for cancellation or a refund. Furthermore, the customer service was remarkably rude.

Being from Oklahoma, we could not believe how cheap their merchandise is. My daughter got a pair of Futsal shoes for about 1/3 what we would have spent back home.

We stopped by the store, last weekend and even though we were there an hour before closing, their door was locked. There was a sign posted saying they had to close early due to staffing, which is understandable. This is not why I have a problem with this store. Today, we stopped again and the store had no customers, but was open. The young man running the store did not look up from his cell phone or say hello. He did not offer to help us with the shoes until we asked for a specific size. He didn’t answer us, rolled his eyes, walked into the back and came out with a box, dropping them on the bench and walked away. This happened three more times. We will not be purchasing items from this store now or in the near future. If I were you, I’d reconsider giving them your business, as well.

I drove 45 minutes to get to the store by 5. Online and on the door it said they were open until 5, but the door was locked by 4:40. I called the store while standing outside and was told, "I close at 4:30." I told the yound man that I drove 45 minutes and I was there for a pick up order and asked that he give it to me. He was the rudest person. He sighed loudly into the phone and hung up on me. He opened the door the smallest amount and walked away letting the door close and lock.me out. I had to knock to let him know I still could not get in at which point he rolled his eyes and shook his head. He treated me like I was the biggest inconvenience ever.

Online said they were open. Got there and they were closed. Went the next day. Sat a very long time with other's before anyone came out to help in the shoe department.

Nice store. Didn't have what we needed but that's ok. Staff working didn't seem like they wanted to be bothered.

Soccer Master and Freddy, the manager, do not care at all about their customers. I am so super disappointed and angry at the lack of customer service I received at Soccer Master in Urbandale today. One week ago, on 10/20/21, my 10 year-old son and I went to Soccer Master to buy new keeper gloves. The salesman working that night convinced me to purchase the more expensive, $75 gloves because, in his words, “These are a much higher quality and will last you way longer than the other brands, where you pay for the name.” I was hesitant but trusted him to be the expert. My son, who as I mentioned is TEN and therefore not taking a lot of super hard shots to his gloves or anything, has used those gloves exactly 3 TIMES at practice and they are already torn on the palm. I took them to Freddy at Soccer Master and he said tough luck. Not willing to exchange them or do anything at all. Freddy’s excuse was that the glove company won’t warranty them, so he won’t, either. Actually West Coasst Goalkeeping's warranty says that within 30 days they will exchange used gloves if there is a problem. Freddy wouldn't even do that. Incredibly disappointing, as my family has been very loyal customers at Soccer Master for many years now and they're the only soccer store in town. I believe if I’d bought those same gloves at Scheels or Dick’s and this had happened, those stores would do what was right and exchange them for a new pair. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH SOCCER MASTER, unless you don't care that they won’t do anything to make it right for their customers. At the very minimum, I hope Freddy educates his salespeople on what to say. I feel like I got tricked into buying the expensive gloves and then got screwed over when they were junk. HORRIBLE SERVICE, HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT, HORRIBLE STORE.

Would not let my toddler who is potty training use the "public" bathroom due to covid while shopping in their store. They would however let us shop in their "public" store. This policy is messed up. Thanks for wrecking my toddler's day. Shame on you Soccer Master. We won't ever shop here again.

Not enough help, associates not overly eager to help. Cashier not listening/able to understand my questions.
