Truly cannot express just how much I hate dealing with Ramsay Subaru and it's associates. I bought my Subaru in 2019 and it was going fine for awhile. I've always brought it to Ramsay for service as I felt that they'll know more about my vehicle than the other options. But this is pretty worthless given that they never listen to my concerns with my vehicle. Over a year and 10,000+ miles ago, I brought in my vehicle for an oil change and also let them know that I was having problems with the speakers and radio as well as my engine consuming excess oil, with the low oil light coming on multiple times between changes. They told me they were not able to replicate the issue with my speakers and radio and couldn't help. I brought this up at every appointment since as the issue persisted and again got no help. They told me that they'd do an oil consumption test and any issues they found would be covered under my warranty. I brought this issue up at every appointment I had and again got no help. Of course my car was still under warranty at this time and the radio, speakers, and engine would be covered. At my last appointment, the associate I had (I think his name is Mike, he is usually wearing all black and has a ponytail) argued with me for awhile about problems I was having with my tires and told me my car was still under warranty, so any engine issues I had would be covered. I was there again today getting my tires patched (I believe they sold me bad tires back in November because I've been getting leaks a few times a month since then) and was informed that my car just passed my warranty and they can't do anything for my engine issues anymore. Would have been so nice if they'd listened to me the first five times. The associate downplayed the issues and said I'll just have to be diligent about checking my oil and adding more as needed. They are also very disrespectful of their customers time. I've spent 3, 4, 6 hours waiting for my car to get done after being told it would only be an hour to an hour and a half. If it only happened once or twice I may be more understanding, but it has happened every single time. The obvious pattern of giving misleading or inaccurate information makes me believe that there is something in their job training that encourages them to be intentionally manipulative and to put off necessary repairs until the vehicle is no longer under warranty. They are scummy to the core. Would not recommend them to anyone.

Took my 2018 Crosstrek in for some high-mileage maintenance. After they handled the requested services, they let me know of a humming noise from the rear and suggested I have them replace the wheel bearings. My initial thought, like most frugle skepticals, was "yeah right, they're just trying to get more money out of me!" The service advisor, Matt, politely reminded me that sometimes when we're driving a vehicle regularly, we don't notice sounds it may have developed. Then upon doing more research on the matter, I realized it actually could be an issue I should address. Sure enough, it was like driving a brand new car again after the fix. I had NO idea the bearings were in such bad shape. I could almost swear it rides smoother now than it did when I bought it brand new! Definitely trust these folks and their attention to detail!

I called twice to try and schedule some work on an outback. Both times I called I was transferred to a service advisor. Neither phone call was answered and neither voicemail was returned. I called beckley automotive instead and had everything I needed in less than 5 minutes.
