I cannot praise this daycare enough for their unwavering commitment to safety, cleanliness, and child development! From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the immaculate environment and the nurturing atmosphere they've created. The staff is attentive and well-trained, ensuring the well-being of every child in their care.The facility itself is designed with the highest safety standards in mind, and the staff's dedication to cleanliness is evident. It gives me peace of mind knowing that my child is in a healthy and secure environment.But what truly sets this daycare apart is their focus on child development. Their age-appropriate activities and curriculum are thoughtfully designed to foster creativity, social skills, and cognitive growth. My child is always excited to attend and has shown remarkable progress since joining.I wholeheartedly give this daycare 5 stars and recommend it to any parent seeking a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for their child's development. My 18month started the school 2 weeks back, and this is the first time he is going for a daycare away from us. I need to say i’m very impressed with the improvement he is having. I can see lot of changes, he started talking new words, showing interest in reading. With such a short time i’m seeing these changes. And more over never feel he is away from us, getting timely update about his activities and teachers are so good. i’m so happy to choose Primrose School for my son.

Recently switched our children out of another school into Primrose and could not be more pleased. The school itself is incredibly structured, allowing kids to learn not only the base curriculum but also how to follow a daily schedule and adhere to the rules of the classroom. The teachers go above and beyond to make all kids feel welcome and I was highly impressed that the owners are there on the daily - getting to know not only the kids but families as well. I HIGHLY recommend Primrose School of Urbandale.

Great and caring teachers! I am so lucky to have my daughter attend Primrose School. Everyone there is so welcoming. There is an overwhelming sense of teamwork at this center, and I know my daughter is well cared for. I am also impressed with their curriculum! She comes home and tells me new things every day. She has a lot of pride in her education, and friends, at Primrose School of Urbandale.

Third time's the charm!!My husband and I have a veryyyy high standard when it comes to care with our kiddo. We moved to Iowa about a year ago and our toddler has gone to two different schools here, pulled him out of both because the lack of communication/care/cleanliness/common sense/staff yelling- just the level of incompetence.From the start of the tour until now, this school has been nothing but different. Every single day, the owners/all staff personally greet us and our kiddo. The communication and the feeling of knowing our kiddo is actually safe is something we haven't felt from a school in Iowa. They actually care about the kids and the parents. They send me updates/emails and its so descriptive, we are super happy.There is actual education too!!! We ask our kiddo about what he did for the day, and it ALWAYS lines up with the activities that were described in our daily emails. That means the world to us, because we have caught past schools lying about this.I specifically want to shout out Miss Rhea, the owner, as she is unbelievably friendly and really knows how to run a school. We are so impressed by her, she makes it a perfect experience every drop off/pickup.As parents who are extremely picky, we HIGHLY recommend this school to every parent who wants the best for their kids.

We went here to explore a daycare for my daughter and returned highly impressed. The facility is fantastic, and the management/teacher quality is excellent. This is easily among best daycares I have ever seen across US.

We absolutely loved it! The program was awesome for us and our little one enjoyed the curriculum. Clean, well kept, friendly staff. Big shout out to Ms. Helen in the Pre-K class. Our family will miss you so much!

Primrose is hands down amazing with my 4 year old. We were so impressed with the tour and curriculum that we immediately signed her up and stopped hunting for a new daycare when we moved from Oklahoma.

Our 2 year-old had been attending Primrose Urbandale for 3 months now and have to share the experience has been great for us. They were very supportive during the initial transition period, which was very rough for our kid who is used to care at home. He loves going there, loves the teachers and friends. He has become more social since joining the school and actually eats better too! The curriculum, communication, safety and care are all high priority here.

My family and I are very grateful for the staff and owners at Primrose! We made the very hard decision to move from an in-home to a center to fit better with our work schedules, but we have been SO happy with the care that our 2 boys (3.5 and 1) have received over the last 9 months. Everyone makes them (and my husband and I!) feel so welcome everytime we walk in the door. The care they put into the lesson plans, facility, menus, events, and everything in between is something we do not take for granted. We highly recommend Primrose of Urbandale to anyone seeking care for their children!

My daughter started with Primrose in July 2022. This was the first school we toured in the area and we did not look any further! We were impressed with not only the facility and curriculum but the knowledge of the director, Anissa. Having a school with diverse students and staff was the cherry on top! Having such a great tour and orientation, I decided to join the team! I can honestly say from both a parent and employee, this school has your child’s safety, development and education at the forefront of their mission!

Would give more stars for Primrose Urbandale if I could. Our family has been so pleased with the care our two sons have received. After moving to the area in 2021, we started out at a different center and had a very poor experience, so we left. We were so lucky to get into Primrose. We love the teachers, leadership, and even the cook! Everyone is so kind and they are good at communicating to parents about school events, closures, or any issues that come up with your children. I feel worry-free when I drop them off, because I know they are in loving hands.

This facility is the utmost professional early childhood center that any of my family or I have encountered. Your child will be treated as an individual, loved, and be truly cared for in your absence.My son came into the program at 2 years. Previous experiences with other childcare centers left my son terrified and displaying severe behavior changes. The owners of the facility are very involved and did everything in their power to reassure me that my son would not be just a number and be taken care of as an individual with a structured learning and nutritional environment, and well establish policies such a aggressive behavior and sick child policies. They are the most health conscious center I have had experienced. They go out of their way to ensure parents are properly notified for any an all health related issues. They educate them selves on all unique cases to include signs and symptoms unique to particular illnesses or diseases.The staff is flexible, respectful and courteous when parents express concerns or just want to know how their child is progressing. They dedicate just enough time to communicating throughout the day and at drop-off/pick-up times that parents have a good idea of what is going on without taking away valuable time used to interact with your children.Their facility is well established and continues to look forward on ways to better their building, staff, and program. They even do extracurricular activities just as a regular school would.I am slightly bias but Ms. Shianna is the best early development teacher there!If you need a new home for your little I would 10/10 recommend Primrose off of Hickman.

this place is a cut above the rest, simple as that. Our daughter we kept at home for her first 18 months and looked to get her into more social settings. We toured around 6-7 facilities in the dsm area. The moment we entered it was a very warm welcome. You can tell the owners have a passion for children and learning. They are literally always present, always with a smile. I honestly don’t know where they find the energy but we are grateful. The facility is clean and organized. The teachers are excellent and equally warm natured. Our daughter has blossomed socially since coming here and is excited to go to school every drop off. Easiest 5 star review I have left

We absolutely love Primrose. The owners, leaders and teachers are kind, caring and passionate. They have worked with our children to build a strong relationship and we are always impressed with all the new things our kids learn. We love Primrose!
