The prices for a weekend service call was well below competitors. The technician that helped was very friendly. He took the time to explain everything to me.
I was impressed that he took the time to clean the unit explaining the impact it has on my utilities and life of the machine.
I could see his wheels turning as he found ways to explain it so I would understand.
I was given the bill in email after I paid. I had trusted the cost of the part aligned to the amount I paid. I really don’t feel like it did. I was charged $349.31 for a $50 capacitor. That is 700% above cost. That’s not including the cost just to have them come out.
I called and I wasn’t treated with respect. The owners son could not explain to me beyond that I should just pay that amount because that’s just how it is these days. I expected more from an independent company not owned by a holding company.
They did send me a check. I’ve added a second star, but I can’t justify a 3rd because of how my call was handled.

I've been dealing with an AC unit that's limped along the past 2 years. It started pulling too much power and my power kept going out briefly. It was time to do something finally and I had great recommendations from the Beaverdale area Facebook page.
I called, was promptly helped, appt set up and we were good to go. Mick was the gentleman that helped me and he was AWESOME!
Communication was top notch, work performed was A++, and follow up was great! Everyone on the phone was amazing as well!
Just super happy overall and can't recommend this place enough for all your HVAC needs!

When you call it’s always bad, an emergency on our end. But the staff will talk you off the edge and assure you that your crisis will be solved. Then the magic men arrive, Mick, Joel or whoever shows up and you’re comfortable once again. This is the only shop I call, and I tell everyone, including you. If you have a problem, here’s your solution.

We had a 3-4 year old unit stop working right as we were leaving town for a week. They were quick to get a tech out when I was able to make the service call to see what the issue was. Knowing that it was a newer unit, they were very fair and reasonable in getting the work done. They knew we’d be getting back to a very hot house after a long trip and were here first thing on a Saturday morning to hurry and get it going. The tech was very nice and polite and thorough in his explanation of the problem and the solution. Can’t recommend them enough!

7/14/24 at 2:00 pm on one of the hottest days of the summer so far, our A/C Unit made a terrible noise and stopped working. I called and Mick was at our house in 90 minutes. He knew the unit would need to be replaced. Because the interior temperature of our house was climbing, he ran back to the office and got us a portable A/C Unit for our bedroom and said he would call me first thing Monday morning. And like clockwork at 8 am the next day he called me. They had a replacement unit in stock and they were on their way. Brought in the new unit hooked it up and all was well again. I can’t express how much I appreciate the service, the help and the kindness from Mick and Jordan. I will ONLY deal with Midwest Comfort for as long as I own a home.
