“I would give the girls Brenda and Erica at the clive, Iowa store a 10. They are always kind, fast, and efficient and go above and beyond the call of duty but, however the manager that works there is not. She is rude, not friendly at all, and I have been going there for 2 years to ship off my goods for my customers. Every time I encounter the manager, it's the same thing EVERY TIME. I can't believe that I would be the only one that notices her unfriendliness and lack of friendly customer service and it makes my experience one of where I would rather travel 10 more miles to another ups store than to deal with this manager's attitude. I'm a Christian women and I try to show love, patience, kindness and grace all of the time, but I can only show so much when I encounter the same behavior everytime from the manager, especially when I am in the store everyday, and her attitude never changes. You, UPS, as a company should reevaluate who you have leading the team. I LEAD a team and I would never model this behavior. If it doesn't change then I'm moving on. I don't need my day ruined by an unhappy person that clearly doesn't enjoy her job, and I feel sorry for the clerks that have to deal with that on a daily basis especially when they do their job so well. How sad for the one that's suppose to lead”

“It's conveniently located near my residence. It's also about expectations, everyone is under staffed, so I always appreciate the service staff who are working. I've been receiving my mail and packages at this store for close to 20 years. Rick on the staff there has always looked after my needs and tried to help me with any Issues I might have. He would be might go to person if I had an issue, It's a small business and the owners are primarily at their Ankeny store, so they are not usually available. Like most service oriented businesses they've gone through lots of staff, Rick has remained a constant. Having said that all the staff I have dealt with have by-and-large have done there best to try and help me in any way that they can. They offer me what I need a place to receive and send packages from and hold my mail.”

“I needed to ship two boxes full of fragile, porcelain, collector Christmas decorations gifted to me by parents and worth about $1000, and was terrified that they'd never arrive in once piece. I left the packing to the Beaverdale UPS store, and the staff packed them with tremendous care and professionalism. They arrived across the country in perfect condition, so I called them to thank them! “Staff are really nice. Never an issue. I wish the hours were extended though just a bit. I work the standard 9-5 kind of job and thats the po box hours... Makes it really hard for me to try to get here to get to my mail. PO box access is available limited on saturday but most of the time they hold the item instead of putting it in a box so I have to speak to someone to get it.... Which means I can't get it on saturday. The hours are my only issue here. Location and staff are great.”

I've always been able to use the kiosk, go online ahead of time, and minimize any waiting. It's completely fine and is as intended/required/imagined/designed for. It's not meant to be a concierge level service provider.”
