I just had the best experience at this Kwik star! I was helped by Kevin at the registers and he was the most pleasant person. Definitely made my day and put a smile on my face. His banana bucket hat was also amazing! ? If you stop at this location, I hope you get a chance to say hello to Kevin!

Your overnight crew at this store is solid. I come here every night at 3 am on my break and every single person that works here is always friendly and on top of their game. When I'm not working I go to the Kwik Star in Waukee and it's a night and day difference, because I dread going there. I wish Waukee wasn't so far because I'd almost drive out of the way to get the service I get here.

I’ve spent a total of 10 minutes here but I wanna talk about Denise, I just started a new job across the street and stopped here on the way home from work for a quick lunch for the next day because I was Burnt out. I had a stressful day and she could tell right off the bat. I grabbed a salad without any dressing because I had no idea it didn’t come with. She went out of her way to go and grab some for me. That’s not the only kind thing she did for me during this transaction, she went above and beyond. If there is a kindness award I nominate her. Thank you Denise for changing my whole day around. I won’t forget it.

I would have giving a 5 star, but very unhappy with how they are treating their employees that's been there since day 1. Kevin, Marcy, and Deb are the best and I love to see them when I visit this location which is across the street from my home. I'm not happy to know that when I come in I don't see Kevin as much as I use. My hubby and I adore him along with others that frequent this store. I hear that this store doesn't really get a lot of business, well maybe if they keep the very same employees in the store that drew the customers from the beginning it'll pick back up. Several of my neighbors feel the same.

I usually come in later at night to grab 1-2 things, and most of time it’s dead in there with only 1 worker on the floor, which i get, even though it was 11 pm. But once i finally found a worker walking towards the floor, he saw me and immediately turned around back into the office while scrolling on his phone. I called out for him but there was no answer, so i just put back my milk and left.

Everyone is kind, I’d never say kinder than a chicken-based franchise. There is an older man who always makes sure to make everyone feel seen. I'm astonished at how many people he can remember. He is always kind and caring. Like a grandpa away from home. If you're having a bad day stop by this place.
