Best gun store in the DSM area. I love the layout, its so nice to be able to handle the firearms im interested in without bothering an employee. They have a great selection of not only new but also used firearms! Bonus if you go, you get to see Kenny ❤️
I will say some employee who said he was a veteran explained to my mother that she needed a 38. Revolver, that she should carry in a purse without a holster so she could shoot through it without drawing??? He also said she should finish off an attacker (murder ?) because if she doesnt, then her attacker would be back to hurt her after prison.

Left an old revolver with them so a "gunsmith" could do a cleaning and test fire. Made it clear that the gun needed a deep cleaning and explained its history. When I got the gun back, I suspected that it ha not been disassembled when I could still see grime in the screw heads, but I let it slide. A few months later, I had the gun apart to replace a spring and took the pictures posted here. They obviously did not clean it.
When I took the gun in to show them this, they did make it right. However, it still happened in the first place, thus I'm leaving this review and will not be returning. There was also a bit of lip service about how their "cleaning" would just be bore cleaning, which I thought was ridiculous.
It is my opinion that it was negligent to have test fired this piece, knowing the condition it was in when I dropped it off.

I took an old gun there that actually fires and they didn't want nothing to do with it because it was worth quite a bit of money they told me there was a lot wrong with it there's actually nothing wrong just fired the other day

I knew the original owner, and he was a pretty good guy. But I don't care for the new owner at all. I won't even walk in the store anymore. Life is too short to waste my time and money with people who don't appreciate my business. There are plenty of alternatives.
They come off more like know-it-alls than knowledgeable and helpful staff.
A polite smile now and then would go a long way with customers.
