If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Brian Houk and his remarkable team broke a record as the fastest closed (financed) deal of my real estate career! I am a Florida Realtor and was representing a buyer in Gainesville, FL. I had worked with Brian a few years ago when my buyer’s daughter purchased 4 investment properties. Since she’d had success with him in the past, she really wanted her mom to use him for her home purchase. Working with out of state lenders is never my preference and since we had a VERY tight timeline, I was admittedly skeptical, but the buyer insisted we use Brian and so we took our chances and hoped for the best. Brian and his team did not disappoint!Our journey with Brian kicked off on Wednesday, December 13, when my buyer decided to write an offer on a house we affectionately dubbed "The Little Green Dinosaur" due to its awful shade of green. Not only was Brian was battling a cold and a fever, but when we had questions about being able to make a December 29th closing date, Brian was up, answering our questions at 8:00 at night. We also needed an updated pre-approval letter to send with our offer, which he got to us that evening as well. Our offer was accepted on the 14th and Brian got to work on the file immediately.I mentioned that we had a rapid 2-week closing, but let’s not forget there was a major holiday in the middle of those 2 weeks. At a time when most people check out or go on vacation, Brian and his team were full steam ahead. Against all odds, we had our Clear to Close on December 22nd! Despite being under the weather, his commitment never wavered, and we successfully closed on December 29.Brian Houk's exceptional service, efficiency, and commitment are second to none. As repeat customers, we can attest to the fact that his expertise and dedication make all the difference. If you're looking for a lender who not only meets, but exceeds expectations, Brian Houk and his team are the absolute best in the business. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone - IN ANY STATE! - for a stress-free and successful real estate transaction.
