He went above and beyond to help me find the problem and even gave me suggestions on how to fix it. Made some not great news a little lighter, overall a great and helpful experience!!”

“I usually pop in for a key fob battery exchange, which is always quick and easy. But today I needed a replacement battery for my computer's UPS. I thought I'd selected the right one, but Mario explained the subtle difference in connector sizes and steered me to the correct one. Got home, installed it, and tested it. Still squealing. I called and Mario told me to bring the whole thing in and he'd take a look. He spent a fair amount of time on it, including trying another battery. It wasn't the battery. Before I could even ask, he instructed his co-worker to refund me for the battery. Then the co-worker asked if I wanted to look at their UPS stock. I did not know that they sold them. Saved me a trip to the office supply store and they still made a sale. Win, win. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and exceptional customer service. Thanks for going above and beyond, Mario.”
“I Had a major phone screen malfunction to the point I didn't think it was salvageable. I purchased a new phone thinking that all my info was lost due to being inoperable. I did a google search of phone repair and read a few reviews and I settled on batteries plus u break we fix on army post road because the reviews talked about a lady being pleasant and very helpful. That ladies name was destiny. I knew when I walked in the door I was in the right place. I was greeted with a how can we help you and big smile. I gave her the phone and my info and she assured me they would get it done. Two days go by and I get a call from Josh that screen was there and he was needing a couple extra parts. Again he was very pleasant to deal with and explained extra cost. Received a call today that my phone was done and works like new and all info is intact took 4 days due to having to order parts. If ur looking for phone repair look no further than destiny and Josh at batteries plus on Army Post Rd in Des Moines”
“Chris was great! He took out my old battery and installed a new battery in about 20 minutes. This was outside in freezing temps and the battery was under the passenger seat. Price was fair and service fantastic! Highly recommend!”

“Out of all the Des Moines locations, I like this one the best. A few months back while on my way to O’Reillys, I got a call with some devastating news of someone close to me passing. I ended up still going and grabbing the part I had originally left to get in the first place, but kinda had a complete melt down at the register. The two females that were working stopped what they were doing, helped me back out to my truck, and even took the time to tell me to call the store once I got home, just to let them know I made it back alright, because I was a MESS. Ever sense then, I’ve not had the THOUGHT in my mind to go to any other location. I appreciate the kindness and sincere concern that your employees show to customers!”

“The staff at this location is always helpful in finding a part you might need. They'll look up the part and direct you to the correct item. For small things like windshield wiper or easy headlight replacements, they've always been willing to assist in these installs as well.Prices here range a lot, but they do sell car items, which have prices controlled by manufacturers more than them, so this is mostly outside their control.”
