The theater is ran by local volunteers. All are the epitome of Iowa nice. Beautiful old Victorian style theater. Prices so low you might actually save money going out to the movie.

Took my girls to see a movie the snack pack is $7 and the movie ticket is $3 so they really enjoyed their time.

Wonderful small town theater. Neat, clean, friendly place. Seating is fairly comfortable with a good sound system and great picture.

About Wieting Theatre
1912 Restored Opera House offering new movies most Friday and Sunday Evenings at 7:00 p.m. Check our website for exact schedule as we also offer live events such as theatre and music which can sometimes move the movie schedule to other times. We are available for rent for meetings, weddings, showers and parties. The theatre holds 300 and we have an attached event center that can seat up to 120.
