I’ve never had this bad of experience with the Fareway meat market. I stopped to get a ham steak for supper tonight. Got home and noticed our ham steak looked gray on both sides. I called the meat market and was told to bring it in. So I drove 20 minutes back to town. As soon as I got there the guy told me that the meat always looks this color and if I wanted something better looking I should come in the morning. He told me there was nothing they can do about it and I can try to bring it back in the morning. I was just appalled by the rudeness.

I like Fareway in Toledo as I no where things I want are at.Only problem iv found is I will find something that I like alot and can get a few times and then they quit saleing or they've moved it and can't find.Marshalltowns Fareway is huge and has a LG. Variety of items to choose from and I can usually find what I want there and I get my Dad's groceries at the pickp area and is efficient and staff ar so polite and courteous and quick...

Love being able to come into this store and, no matter what, am always able to see smiling faces all over the place. Takes some of the sting out of what I'm spending by being happier by the time I leave. You should all stop by the Meat market, those guys ROCK! Lovely atmosphere all around!
