On January 25th my husband accompanied me to UBI to open my new business account, I was hoping for a positive outcome. While opening my account I was asked by Yasmin Santizo-Garcia which checks I would like, I chose the purple ones, without carbon copy. Come March I still had not received my checks, so we went into the bank and asked Yasmin why we had not gotten my checks. Yasmin went on to tell us that we never ordered them, but then went on to tell us that she just ordered them a couple days back. We expressed our concern to her that we can not run a business without checks. She made us feel like this was our fault, and was not apologetic at all, in fact she was very, very rude and disrespectful. We spoke with Jake Schable to give them a chance to make it right, and Jakes exact words to us was "I have never had any complaints about Yasmin, so I am going to side with her." At that point I closed my account. The same day I opened another new business account in town and it has been absolutely amazing, with wonderful staff! I suggest others do their research before banking here, especially with a business account!
