When I first called to reserve a room they were going to be full one night of our stay due to a bike rally, so I didn’t book. I figured I would be on the hunt for a hotel further away. To my surprise I get a call back letting me know they had a cancellation and had a room available for our whole stay. This is the service you get from a small town family owned business. We were visiting family and decided to stay few days longer. They were very accommodating and had no problem extending our stay. Budget friendly and pet friendly. They even gave us a room close to an exterior door for easy access to a grassy area for our little dog. Highly recommend.

Rooms: The rooms are the rooms were very comfortable and clean, felt very safe there. The entire Hotel was very quiet really nice.

The manager accused me of smoking in room. Constantly harassed me. Even stalked me. By outside window. Asked when I left for work. Constantly going in my room. Probably going through my federal and personal paperwork. When I got here. Super nice then started doing stupid things. When I went to move chair from middle of room, found hundreds of cigarette burns and rugs by bed even hundreds more. No washclothes. Towels are so stained and nasty you will not want to dry off with them. Not even a microwave in room. Fridge has freezer so frozen up, you can't use. If you want something to eat, you have have to deal with weirdo to cook even a hot pocket. Woke up to find toilet leaking in floor. Had to use their nasty towel to soak up the water. I will be reporting this place to inspectors. The manager even had the nerve to tell me that he had the right to enter my room at anytime. When I tried to explain I am federal backed employee with federal documents in my room, I have the right to be present or for police to be present, he tried to tell me I was wrong. He is dumb and I will pursue the issue with this place and him personally I court. Don't worry good people, it will be shut down soon and he can put his towel back on and go or go to prison. I am pressing charges and pursuing this in court.

Really clean Nothing to worry about super nice helpful owners honestly I drink a lot of ice water I wasn't put out to much going to gas station next door to get coffee an ice for water .. went past it anyways so not outta the way only thing I can say is I wish there was a compliment card ... Thanks so much

Stayed on 12-1 till 12-3 2023 very nice quiet small motel only 12 rooms no ice machine, vending machines, or laundry but no worries the manager Ray very friendly but the wifi password did not work definitely coming back gave me a discount and no deposit which was nice ty again for excellent

I had to stay there because of a last minute emergency.I had two dogs with me and the owner was very thoughtful and checked me in without any hassles or problems with my dogs which, I desperately needed at that time.Thank you!Rooms: Quiet, clean, efficient.Nearby activities: Viking Lake nearby with camping and fishing.Food & drinks: Casey's right next door.

Everytime my husband has a military obligation that I have to attend, we always stay at the Stanton Inn. The owners are absolutely amazing and the place is clean and well kept. I like to think of it as our little secret hide away. I would recommend this place to anyone. It's a quiet little place that is an unexpected oasis in a tiny town away from the chaos of city life.

Clean, comfy, and VERY FRIENDLY! A great place to rest your head while on the road. Stanton is a great little Iowa town! Also, check out the local diner in town. Hands down the BEST skillet I’ve ever had!
