It's understandable that a package can get misdelivered during the holidays but what I find appalling is when you inquire about your lost package with the postmaster Preston and are promised being informed of what they find and never hear from him. What's worse is we contacted him a couple weeks later and was told the same thing but never hear from him. Our package was admittedly delivered to the wrong address and over a month later not found, as far as I know because I haven't heard a word back.

The staff is nice and very helpful but parcel delivery service really needs to improve. This is the 3rd time this year that my package has been delivered to somewhere else. We have house numbers for obvious reasons and mail delivery is one is them. If possible to ship with other services do so never had a problem with the other guys.

I have 2 dogs at home in our small apartment so when I saw the driver show up with package in hand in the vehicle I got my dogs and put them into another room waiting for a door knock or doorbell. Nothing happened and when I went to see if she was putting anything in the mail box she was gone. And their was a signature required slip in my mailbox instead. She was to lazy to even knock on the door, so thanks for nothing.

Easily some of the rudest people I’ve ever dealt with. Oh and don’t forget your tape to simply tape your return label to the package, they refuse the tape dispenser sitting INCHES away from them and make you purchase a roll for $4. Will never walk in that place again, I will gladly drive to the nearest post office in the next town over.

Pretty sure half of my mail gets lost. The floor is always dirty. Could be updated and more efficient.

The Spirit Lake Post Office is a nice little branch that is located on the lower end of the downtown Arts District and just a block from the library. I have been in and out of this Post Office over the years and except for some internal improvements, this place is pretty much the same as it ever was. My most recent experience was to purchase some postage and send out an envelope. It was a basic task that was done quickly and with friendly down home professionalism.
