I purchased a Pfleuger President reel that I used 1 time and it malfunctioned. Unfortunately it was several months between the first use and the second one when it wasn't working. This lapse in time made it so the local retailer (sportsmans warehouse) would not exchange it which is the store policy which is fine I understand it. I decided to reach out to the manufacturer and found there is no "Pfleuger" any more. Its all been purchased by this large corporation. I sent an email describing everything and they wouldn't even give me a reply! Really disappointing. I would suggest looking into the brand on the fishing equipment you purchase in the future. It may be best to steer clear on anything under the Pure Fishing umbrella. If there are any other fishermen/woman out there that have had the same experience with pure fishing company that I have please take the time to leave negative reviews. It's important to let people know about bad sellers like this one.thank you for reading my long winded review.

All driver must enter from 153rd street! All the driveways have no truck signs. Receiving doesn’t start until 8 but they got me started unloading about 7:30am. Receiving is the yellow building. Check in is at door 4

Straightforward process, quick turn around. Lee McKim is awesome! I sent in my Hardy ultralight fly rod for repair. She was quick to get to repairing my product. I received a personal call during which she went through all the details of repair parts used and cost associated. She even walked me step by step through what the shipping would look like and when exactly to expect the shipment. By thorough inspection, She went above and beyond and even solved a possible problem before it happened. Thank you!

Had presidential reel that had broke at the neck. I did not have reciept when I sent back in. They sent me back my original spool with braided line,a d the next day I received a new reel with an extra spool and there were no questions asked. That tells be the back their products and excellent quality and service. Thanks again, I know I will keep buying your products.?????

The quality of their products has gone down over the years. Half of the crankbaits I purchase from them don’t run straight out of the box anymore. I’ve had two reels break within the first year and a half of purchase. I’ve tried contacting their customer support over a half dozen times to order replacement parts, and I’ve never heard back from them. I would steer clear of purchasing any product from Pure Fishing.

The new Gulp called Pearl White is lousy bait. The older version is tougher,, last longer and can't believe they messed with the formula to make that crummy new pearl white. Don't buy it.

Bought a Shakespeare Contender reel at a Walmart store. A month later the anti-reverse switch broke off. Shakespeare was kind enough to send me a replacement part. Unfortunately trying to put the real back together turned out to be a nightmare. In frustration I sent the reel back to the company with a note that I would be willing to pay up to $20 to fix the real or you can just keep it!I then took a fishing trip to Northern Ontario for 10 days. A couple days ago I received a package in the mail from Pure Fishing. I found a brand new Shakespeare Contender reel with an invoice showing no payment required. Pretty darn good service.
