Tired of checking out at Hyvee and always being treated like I am going to steal something! Its always the same guy that circles me and will come stand about 2 to 3 feet from me watching me very close. Maybe Hyvee needs to work on retraining their employees to at least be better at profiling their customers. My husband and I moved to Spirit Lake a little over a year ago and this behavior is new to us. I have never been disrespected like this anywhere else. I have never stolen anything in my life and am tired of being treated as if I would be stealing something AS I AM IN THE PROCESS OF PAYING FOR IT. Not to mention, what happened to social distancing?

I had a cashier reach across the counter at checkout and grab at cards IN MY WALLET tonight!! Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE and infuriating!!

Gayle and I stopped in once during our Spirit Lake stay last week, and we manage to come here every time we're in town. As we had done our main grocery shopping at the larger Hy-Vee in Spencer, our visit here was of the "touch up" variety. We know this store, which makes things easy to find and be on our way. Store staff was particularly helpful and we avoided being too OCD about expiration dates.

I cannot say enough about this HyVee and the employees of the floral department and deli. We live over 1600 miles away so I had to do our business long-distance. I called them on two different occasions, and each time everyone was fantastic and so very helpful...Amber, in The floral department, even sent me a photo of the flowers that were being delivered. Grocery pickup from the Spirit Lake location was a joke! Out of the 57 items I ordered, 11 were missing when I got home. I never received any emails, messages, or calls letting me know items were out of stock. I understand if they were out of certain items, but the employee that brought my order to my vehicle never said a thing about them being out of anything nor did she give me a receipt for what I was actually charged for. went in looking for my drinks, you know the story by now. no to my drinks. we bought some stew meat for dinner. Staff at the meat counter has helpful and pleasant. Checking our was smooth. no issues with this visit.

Every year I order a dozen corn bread muffins (delicious btw) usually they come in a nice plastic flip top container which they fit in perfectly. THIS is what I got this year.....the plastic bag was not even sealed!! Hello?? @hyveespiritlake
