I would leave negative stars if I could!! It's pretty bad that a 45 year old housewife knows more about cars than their certified mechanic. I called to schedule appointment reached the automated service. I left a message with my name, phone number and that I believed that the left caliper was locked up on the back rear driver's side because the rim had brake dust and the rim was hot. No return phone call. The next day stopped in to Okoboji Motors and scheduled appointment. The day I dropped my car off I again told them what I thought was going on with my car. No one call me that entire day for any updates on the status of my car. The next morning I called and was told there is nothing wrong with my car, that the mechanic drove it through the parking lot and the car is fine and the rim is just dirty. My reply was well why don't all four of my rims look dirty then if it is dirt. When I stop to get my car I was told I owed $67.00 I told the service department that I don't believe they did their job as they should have put it up on the hoist to check the tire, brakes, caliper, wheel bearings ect. Driving it across the parking lot isn't doing there job. The service department decided to keep the car after I told them I was taking it somewhere else because I knew that their is something wrong with it. They called me later that day and told me the left caliper was locked up and needed to be replace. Wow I believe I told them that twice. Long story short 4 days with no car, no offer of a loaner car, no apology for their incompetence, no offer of saving the first service of $67.00 absolutely nothing to make it right. I purchased my car from okoboji motors being a past customer you would think they would at least apologize. I will not be back for service as the people I encountered were extremely rude to me because I had concerns that my car wasn't properly looked at, also I will never buy another car from this dealership if this is how they treat loyal customers. Also Mike Boone was very condescending to us, when we ask to at least apologize for the situation. The bottom line is they messed up and we questioned it. I was right they were wrong, I never leave reviews but this time I am because they couldn't simply say they were sorry for their mistake and the inconvenience it caused.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE TECHNICIANS... I tell them or order the part and fix my truck then they call me and ask if they want them to fix it again!?! Like duh! Not to mention looking for a diagnosis that has no correlation to the actual problem -1 stars for service DONT RECOMMENDED

When in for simple alignment on a 2000 Cadillac Escalade. I say simple because I just installed new upper and lower control arms along with tie rods inner and outer new shocks and sway bar links and a a 4" drop torsion bar keys. Appointment was at 11am vehicles wasn't looked at until little after 3PM due to techs father in law passing. That's what I was told by Aaron. No problem I was occupied until I got a call about a problem that turned out to be nothing out of ordinary just more time wasted and I felt like they were trying to hustle me. So left and came back at 6PM when they close and it still was not finished. One side was went to square up on the bill that I was quoted$96 turned out to be $181i was charged for a double alignment due to caster adjustments. Caster is part of the alignment I do not recommend they want to rob u coulda went down the road to 2 different places and paid half got Same quote I got from Aaron before he doubled it stay away!Service: Steering & suspension repair
