The first differential I ordered through my local shop developed a persistent whine during deceleration after installation. USP recommended driving it for 500 miles to see if the noise subsided, but it did not. They then sent a replacement differential to my local shop under warranty and covered the installation costs at my local shop's hourly rate. I paid nothing out of pocket.

“We were visiting relatives in Arnold's Park and got a flat tire on Saturday morning. A groove in the tread had been punctured by a small piece of metal. We put on the spare and drove to the Wal-Mart Auto Center in Spirit Lake to see if the flat could be repaired. We only had to wait a few minutes before the mechanics inspected the damage and determined that it could be done. It took about 30 minutes to complete the repair. The nice lady at the service desk kept us informed about the status of the work. The price was very fair and reasonable. We are very pleased with the customer service we received.”
