If you're in the market for JD carb parts, this should be your 1st option period. Needed carb parts for an MT and Robert's had the exact venturi I needed along with some gaskets and a needle and seat!! Parts got shipped out fast and the prices are very good. Plus there is lots of info on the site.

They reworked my carb for my JD 630 and did an outstanding job. All I had to do after installing it was check the timing. I didn't even have to make any adjustments to the carb. Worth every penny.

I would not recommend Roberts Carburetor Repair out of Spencer Iowa. They had a big advertisement in “2 Cylinder Magazine” about their Tractor Carburetor Repairing service that I saw. I called them and the lady at Roberts Carburetor quoted me around $400.00 to rebuild the carburetor So I send my John Deere Carburetor off to them June 29, 2020. Boy was that a mistake. I waited months for them to rebuild the carburetor. I called them several times to check on the progress and they kept telling me it would take about 4 weeks more before they could get to rebuilding it. Finally, on November 11, 2020 I had had enough of their nonsense. I told them to send my carburetor back. The lady told me that I had to pay for the work they had done. She the charged me $109.75 to get my carburetor and two zip lock bags of parts they had taken out of it back. They had partially sand blasted the outside. They had done virtually nothing and had kept my carburetor for almost 5 months. What a waste of my time. Finally, on November 18th I got it back. A friend recommended Sharps Antique Tractor. I called and sent the carburetor and the bags of parts to Sharps. Sharps charged me 275.00 to fix the mess Roberts had done and that included the shipping. Sharps had it completely restored and tested and back to me in less than 2 weeks. If you are rebuilding and old John Deere, I would stay away from Roberts Carburetor Repair Service.
