I just left the Casey’s location on South Grand Ave, the one that used to be the Holiday gas station. The guy at the counter was a total jerk. Casey’s stores accept the Hy-Vee Fuel Saver Perks at their gas pumps. Usually I can check how much of a discount I have available by scanning my card at the pump, but this location’s pumps were all pre-pay, so I wasn’t sure how to do that. I asked the guy at the checkout about this, and he said “Yeah, we can’t check that in here…” and trailed off like he was done talking. I then went on to explain how I usually check my fuel saver balance, and when I finished he gave me a dirty look, put his hands on his hips, and very rudely said “Like.I.was.trying.to.explain - we don’t have the capability to check the balance of perks cards, we can only scan your card and take however much is available off your gas purchase”. I was so mad at how he had just treated me for no reason, all I could manage to say was “Wow ok that’s fine!” - to which he threw his hands in the air and smirked like I was the one who had just been rude. He had a rude tone for the rest of our interaction, and slammed the hand held scanner down when I told him I would pass on scanning my Fuel Saver. I was pissed, to say the least. I’ll also add that he had a few friends standing around the counter talking when we walked in, and they were saying nasty things and swearing loudly. He also didn’t have a name tag, but was blonde with long hair back in a ponytail, with a scraggly looking beard. I’ve worked in retail and realize it sucks - people can be rude and sometimes you just aren’t on the mood to deal with it. BUT - I was nice to him, and didn’t think my question and comment warranted the type of reaction I got from him.

I have noticed that your older gentleman that is a general manager likes looking inappropriately at younger females. His eye contact with there bodies is quite disturbing and as a customer I’ve watched it happen many times. I stopped going in the store in the morning when he’s there because it makes me feel awkward. I believe his inappropriate behavior needs to be handled immediately.

Incredibly helpful staff! Amazing! Everything from figuring out how to buy ice to learning the Casey's Discount card & how to use it, SO NICE & HELPFUL! In a world that is under staffed, this place is the only place I'll go now!

This Casey's is a mess!!! I have stopped three times in the last month and their pumps and card readers are always broken. I love Casey's but this place is a stain on Casey's. Go to the Casey's on the east side Grand.
