“Some of the staff are fun, friendly and helpful. For example, the store manager went out of the way to help me when I had just moved into the area. You won't find that kind of service in most convenient stores. The food is good; especially the pizza. This is the best Casey store I've visited while in Iowa.”

“I always shop at Smithland County Store when in town. I’ve only been to Smithland once so that’s 100% true. Though I didn’t buy anything. I used the bathroom. Maybe “stop” is a better word than “shop”. Nice, clean and somewhat cozy convenient store in the middle of The Loess Hills. Make it a stop & shop on your next outing.
