Metronet in Sioux City Iowa is horrible. They lack the technical support in our area, they hire people outside their company to do work that isn't even checked on. Took more than six week to get cable buried mid summer and multiple people were tripping on it daily. All aspects of the installation were done wrong and when they came to look at it the (hardware) technician was in shock.Speeds coming out of the modem aren't 500/500, was 20-40/500, then tech replaced modem and was still only 130/500, he called tech support and they said we trust whatever the Eero says. Somehow the eero transforms that bad source into 500/500 but you only get that speed if your hardwired with a 5g or higher device and there's only 1 Ethernet port on Eero router. We can't alter any channels on eero they said we own it and if you want more settings buy your own router, even if we did the subscription on eero to get more access we wouldn't.The speeds on 2.4ghz she said was 20-40mbps and im not even getting that hardwired, we was getting 50-55mbps on our TV's previously but only about 28mbps now. They are 5g and we got 5g at first then after 2 weeks the eero decided to change them to 2.4g and they have been stuck on that since last 5 months till we got a new router and modem, then a tech support agent on phone started changing stuff on our app without permission and then put our TV's back to 2.4g and we couldn't even stream 4k on what we was getting.I brought up them restricting our bandwidth since about 3 weeks after set up and the tech agent got very upset. We can't run more than 1-2 devices without seeing drops in connection/buffering/bandwidth loss. We are spose to be able to run 6-8 devices streaming, gaming, checking emails said the tech's but online for our service says up to 15 devices connected at once. We have to turn off WiFi on devices just to utilize other devices without issues and we still see periodical buffering. They sent out two techs that weren't trained enough/at all/wrong field of technical support.Last guy tech supervisor on phone was spose to send out tech agent with 3+ yrs of in field service and we got a new guy from a different state that didn't even have his own computer yet to troubleshoot.Four different employees said the Eero is trash and said we should definitely get our own non eero brand. We were also told to not use the ISP DNS server. It's the worst service I've ever had with an ISP, the cost goes up every year for three years here, but i was told by last guy in different state they're from that there's more competition and there's lower prices plus if you stay with em for a couple years they give 1gig speeds for $30/mo. The tech also said he is using a very old router for the 1gig the company gives him for being an employee and has his new xbox connected directly.The two people that called themselves techs were completely baffled with our issues, the on phone techs were also baffled and seen issues. The one tech that installed our new router didn't even register it so when i called tech support few days later they said it was my device not theirs. Also neither tech had us sign anything and according to second tech they are spose to.We have had issues since installation and I would not recommend getting metronet, they haven't established their own building yet, and are sub-contracting to other companies. They don't even have enough employees to operate a professional technician support.When you input Metronet and my zipcode you are what appears online and are an authorized reseller of Metronet. You are the local Metronet, if you are going to be offended by reviews then you shouldn't be in public service. Try and be professional, this is the headline of your business, Satellite Central Dish TV and Metronet Authorized Reseller you partnered with Metronet that means you benefit and take loss when they do. The service person was very competent as well as kind and friendly. I had been trying to get the problem with my cable resolved for months, and he was able to find the problem, make corrections and be on his way is a very short time. Very pleased.

Luis was a champion. I just moved into this house and didn’t understand where all the cables were or how it all worked. He stuck around and figured it all out and was friendly the whole time. I’m sure he didn’t plan on it taking quite that long but you would have never known. It’s great to work local, because if I need him I can ask for him by name.

Friendly and knowledgeable. Good to have a local satellite dealer instead of dealing with someone over the phone who might not even be in this country.
